Hello, Well I am enjoying the Third Trimester! I cannot believe it has arrived! Holy Smokes! This pregnancy is flying by! You don't even realize how many nights Jayden and I lie and bed and talk about how fast everything is going. We still cannot even wrap our head around the Idea that we almost have a 1.5 Year Old. How does time go so fast? Life with Isaiah has been a complete life change...and we cannot even believe he is ours. We cannot even believe we have been parents for 1.5 Years (on the 1st) Yikes! And now he is going to have a little brother! Slow down time. Life is amazing and we are so blessed and Thankful to have all that we have! Thank you Jesus! This pregnancy has been very great so far. Minus the very painful heartburn every now and again. But this last week was when I gave in and went and bought some Zantac (better take some now...now that I got a reminder to take it) But yeah there was a day earlier this Week that I could have died it was so bad. I could hardly breath and it was the sharpest pain to my chest I have experienced in all my life. I have never felt it anything like this when I was prego with Isaiah. So it was a crazy experience. I got a prescription when I was pregnant with Isaiah because I would get heartburn (mild heartburn) every once and a while. The Doctor said that the meds were still fine to take with this pregnancy (because I only used like 1 out of the bottle) So I took 2 the day I had the bad heartburn and I swear it did absolutely nothing for me! My Sister-In-Law who is also pregnant right now (YAY for lil cousins) swears by Zantac....so I thought I would give it a try...and WOW it is way better than the stuff I got from my Doctor! Crazy! I made little man a newborn hospital hat and some little booties. So I am definitely feeling the early stages of nesting (if that's possible) well nesting by doing crafts and making things for him? haha. Aren't they so cute? I will definitely have more coming! How does Mama feel? Well like I said before I feel great. Just heartburn. Also I have noticed I am starting to get really tired again and losing energy to do things (housework mostly) Also when I have to pick Isaiah up I am finding that a hard task as well. My Belly is definitely in the way now. I told Jayden that I should probably give myself a pedi before I cannot reach my toes at all! So I am sure that will happen this Weekend sometime! Get rid of these dry winter feet I have going on. Also my hands need a good pick me up as well. Nighttime is starting to be the time where I am dreading the most...I cannot get comfortable in bed at all! I seriously wake up a million times to roll over to the other side (and am constantly waking up sleeping on my back) I really want to finish organizing my craft room...because there is a few projects I want to get done before he arrives. A few things I want to make for him (and I will most likely make extra's for the other babies that are going to make an appearance this Year!) I had a girls day on Wednesday. My good friend Laura and I got our hair done together (one after another) then went out for some lunch. It is seriously the best feeling when you get pampered. We tried out this salon for the first time with a coupon for $10 off your first cut as well as a free hair product. How crazy is that? Plus the girl did an amazing job on my hair. I Love it! A little shorter than I wanted, but mostly because the previous cut was slightly longer towards the front. I want to grow it now, so this will be much better for doing just that! How Big is Baby for Week 28? Baby is the size of an Eggplant! Lol! Crazy! Weighs around 1.5-2.5lbs and is about 13.6-14.8 inches in length! The lungs are mature enough that he could probably breath on his own if he were born prematurely. Doesn't this sound insane. He is still so tiny...but he can survive being out in the world! Keep cookin in there baby. We will meet soon enough! Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy! How far along? 28 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: 168.8 lbs. 43 Inch Bump (Sorry I didn't weigh in..this was last weeks measurements) Maternity clothes? My tee is from H&M & Shorts are motherhood I believe (I got them used...cause maternity shorts are freaking expensive) Stretch marks? I may have seen 1 starting (hopefully it was just an indent from my pants. Haha Sleep: Yes I sleep pretty good, once I can get sleep! Best moment this week: getting my hair done and having girl time! Miss anything? Not this Week. Movement: Yup...always moving Food cravings: Too many things to name! Lol! Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Fatigue, Discomfort, Heartburn Belly button in or out? in It seriously wants to pop out, but it is normally an inny and can't Wedding rings on or off? on Happy or moody most of the time: Happy and emotional! Looking forward to: Seeing him in the Ultrasound next Week! Enjoying the wonderful sunshine this day. In shorts and all! Feeling HUGE! haha!

Hello, Well we had a pretty amazing Weekend. My Mother and Siblings came down to visit and we had out very first Gender Reveal Party for our little Peanut. Last Week...Monday to be exact we had our Ultrasound...we were told that they may not be able to determine the gender! But we thought we would give it a try anyways. I had been planning the Gender Reveal Party for over a Month and when I found out my Family were coming down I thought we would chance the results and just stick with our plan to have the Party the following Saturday. The Ultrasound Tech was nice enough to write down the Gender for us on a little piece of paper after she searched the Baby for 5 minutes! So sweet! After the Ultrasound we went to my In-Laws house and I immediately took that little piece of paper and stuck it in an envelope and sealed it (I swear on my life I did not cheat and look at the paper...which was kind of hard to do...but I didn't) So like it always happens this way I saved all the decorations for last minute. I starting making decor on Thursday (with the help of my lovely bestie Allana...who I am so thankful for) and I finished making everything about 2pm on Saturday (when the party started at 3pm) lol. So my goal this Year is to really be more on top of things and really start planning things far more than 3 days in advance...haha! Here are pictures of the party. Hope you enjoy. Here I have bows to draw and cut out as well as moustaches. Of course the Hershey's Bars with He/She highlighted in the Pink/Blue. A nice little touch...that I got from pinterest...haha! Working on Pom Pom's. They actually were really really easy to do..I'll post the link for you if you are interested in making some yourself. http://www.thoughtfullysimple.com/how-to-make-tissue-paper-pom-poms/ (In this link there is a there is a full details link toward the bottom of the post...but the pictures were pretty awesome) I bought iron-on letters to make Isaiah a Big Brother T-Shirt for the Party. As well as working on Banners that we can later in the evening use as an announcement picture (holding the banner) Oh Pinterest you are sooo amazing. Our Voting Station. Cast Your Vote. Grab a Moustache or Bow :) Then we counted all the votes...good job Team Boys :) haha The Beautiful Cake made by our Best Friends. It was perfect in every single way...and it turned out exactly the way I pictured it. I hope you enjoyed this post. We had a blast at the Reveal Party.
IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<3!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for stopping by, Hope you liked my post! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, So we wanted to do something really special and creative to share the news with our Family! We thought it would be really fun to do a project together that would be a huge surprise to our Family! So I got this really great idea from this Mom on Youtube (I watch her channel and I learn so much from her) These are the things we needed: Onesies, Fabric Paint, Gift Bags, Diapers, and Coloured Gift Paper. They idea was to write on the onesies "I <3 Grandma" "I <3 Grandpa" "I <3 Uncle _____" and so on! The actual experience of doing this together was unforgettable...there I go being all mushy again. But it's true, there was such an awesome vibe in the room while Jayden and I worked on these together! It is almost like we see and love each other at a whole different level in our relationship :) (mmm special K with red berries as I write this) We had some awesome Christian music playing in the background as we made these little gifts! It was so fun! Here are the pics of how they turned out! Thanks so much for stopping by :) ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
