Hello, We are 31 Weeks! Holy Moly! I can't believe there is only like 2 Months of this pregnancy left. Definitely creeping up to the final stretch. I am getting so nervous...but super excited at the same time. We will get to meet our little man very shortly. I am definitely starting to feel stressed out a bit, just because there is so much to do to get ready for his arrival. I need to make a game plan and start checking things off my list. I want to save the whole last few weeks of June for cleaning my house top to bottom (since it needs to be so clean for his arrival...hehe) So for the rest of this Month and beginning of next I want to get things organized for him (the rest of his cloths, diapers...buy whatever I need to buy for him) as well as decorate our Master Bedroom...make it welcoming for a little boy to arrive. There are still some things I want to sew...and crochet for him as well...so that will be my focus this Month and the first 2 Weeks in June! Our Maternity Shoot got moved to a closer date (due to a few things) But I am so excited about this because I am seriously feeling pretty massive these days...and June 16th was so far away that I thought, by the time we get there I am going to be way too big. So it is going to now be June 1st! Just over 2.5 Weeks away. That is awesome. I am absolutely in love with the Photographer's work...so that makes this even more exciting. Baby Buys: We bought this used off of one of my dear friends Lauren :) She is the reason we even wanted a Beco carrier. She has about a million carriers...so I came to her for advice and this was the one she recommended. She was buying a new one with a different patter on it (same carrier) so offered this one to us as first dibs. It is is mint condition and I am in love with it. Can't wait to use it...I think I will absolutely love it. It feels so comfortable even now! Really you can't beat a $90 deal when they are about $150 new! Thanks Lauren!!! I picked this 2 piece up from Walmart. I think it was like $7, we definitely need to consider that we will probably have to buy a few more little outfits. Isaiah was born in the middle of Winter (therefore all of his itty bitty clothes are winter clothes) I didn't even think that we don't have any shorts for a new baby. There are a few more things on our list of things to buy for the baby...so I am sure you'll see more to come! How does Mama Feel? Definitely better than the previous Weeks I had...I have a bit more energy now. Still very uncomfortable...but I am getting used to that. He isn't moving around as much (still a lot...still more than Isaiah did) but not as much...I think that is due to being pretty squished in there! Haha! I feel encouraged to lose weight very fast and get back on track with my Health and Fitness after baby comes...Yes I will give myself a few Weeks to get settled and get into a grove of surviving parenthood with 2 children under 2! LOL! But this pregnancy has been a real motivation to get back on track and lose this baby weight (and pre-baby weight...that I haven't lost before I got pregnant) I will not be going into another pregnancy until I reach my goal (or at least close to my goal) which will be about 30 lbs pre-baby weigh this time around. Eeek! Seems like a lot...but I can do it... I will be so much happier and I think more comfortable with the next pregnancies because of it...(lol "pregnancies") How Big is Baby for Week 29? Baby is the size of a pineapple (this is funny because my BIG craving right now is Ham and Pineapple Pizza...best thing in the world) Worse thing in the world before this pregnancy...I could not stand it. Baby is about 15.2-16.7 inches long, and weighs about 2.5-3.8 pounds. Here are my Q's for the Week! Enjoy! How far along? 31 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: 177lbs. 44.5 inches Maternity clothes? My H&M Striped Tee and just regular yoga pants. Hello,
Yikes it has been to long. No video. Sorry. For those of you that like them. Maybe I will do one soon. But anyways I thought I should fill you in on the weeks that I missed. Just in case some of you were wondering! 20-23 Weeks: I officially signed up for the W.I.N Program (Women Infant Nutrition) so that was really cool. Some benefits for joining are I get coupons when we meet....coupons that I can use at the grocery store for like free milk and other dairy, vegetables, and fruit/juices. But that's not the reason I joined...it is a really fun group I already met some great people (Mom's) through it. There is something about meeting and learning about babies and meeting other people with the same things going on as you isn't there? I LOVE this program. It should be a blast once we start up full force again this fall! Jayden and I Celebrated our 4 Year Wedding Anniversary on the 16th of June! :) We had a Family Reunion July 11-14th (23 Weeks Pregnant) it was super fun. We have one every 3 Years on Hubby's side (so this was my second one) It was so exciting to have our baby to be prayed for and loved as much as some of the older generation showed! WOW! 24-27 Weeks: I started meeting with some ladies from my church on Wednesday to sew with them. I sewed a few things since then (especially things for my little niece)! July 30th (25 Weeks 5 Days) My little niece Isla Lynn Madsen joined us. She is lovely :) I meet every Monday with some ladies I know and we crochet/knit together...then we meet again during the week at a local coffee shop that has the best Carmel Mocha Latte's :) Oh the joys of being a Housewife! What more can I ask for? 28-29 Weeks: August 17th (28 Weeks 2 Days)We had a Doctor's appointment she said everything was going super well and that it was time to take our Glucose test! So I did that a few days later. I hate getting poked...I hate it so much!!! LOL! Also she said we are now going to meet every 2 weeks instead of every month! The 19th I got my blood tests done! Aug 20-25th In Edmonton researching some baby things to buy...then we went and visit with my Family for a few days. We mended some relationships that needed mending. Thank you for your Prayers on that. It is really nice to fix things when they are broken...especially with Family! I Love you Mom & Dad...always!!!! WE got a call from our Doctor saying the Glucose test came back positive!!! EEEKK!!! What a scare!!! So we went for another test. Which took over 3 hours of being at the hospital and having to drink that gross drink again (which messed up my system for several days after) Then we had our regular scheduled Doctor's appointment a few days later. The results then came back Negative. So YAY for not have Diabetes!!!!! 30 Weeks: We had another Doctor's appointment (because it is every 2 weeks now not every month) and I noticed that the baby always has the hiccups down below in my "lower" regin like super low so I asked the Doctor if that meant the baby's head was down....she checked and sure enough it is. So let's hope it stays that way. I have gained 18 pounds so far in this pregnancy. Doctor says she is happy with my weight gain. If she's happy...I'm happy!!!! My Belly is 30 Inches according to the Doc! I have been having pretty restless sleeps during 30 weeks. Waking up and thinking that I had a lot to do before my Baby get's here. Stupid things like cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming...and then things like what car seat are we going to buy? LOL Yeah it's been...awesome!!!! 31 Weeks: We had our first Prenatal Class! It was awesome. Our Best Friends are in it too...so that's cool! I have been feeling baby a lot lately. I am starting to notice how it is starting to sit and where it's head is and where it's feet are. I LOVE feeling movements especially it's hiccups! I am becoming so in Love with my Baby I am enjoying every moment of it's growing and learning. Soon enough I will be able to see this beautiful little face and hands and feet and nose and ears and hair. I wonder every day how it will look. Like it's Dad? Like Me? I am so filled with Wonder of this little creation. I thank God everyday for giving us this beautiful gift of life inside me. How Amazing! Symptoms these past few months! Honestly I am safe to say that this pregnancy has been AMAZING so far! I am so lucky to experience this. I have bonded so much with this little person inside me and I have become so much closer in my Walk. I am tired...here and there! I get heartburn...here and there (take 2 tums and I am good to GO) I wake up to pee about 4 times a night...but fall asleep once my head hits the pillow again! My "chest area" hurts now and then...but nothing to complain about! Yeah I wish I could get to say more...but honestly I don't have anything to say. It has seriously been a blast being pregnant. If pregnancy was like this every time...we would be in trouble...because I would want like 10 kids and counting! LOL! Anyways that's enough for my novel. The next one will be shorter! Thanks for reading! Sorry I didn't make a video instead but it would have been like 30 minutes long if I made this into a video! If I keep on top of things I could literally make 2 minute video's. No belly shot today either. I'm lazy! haha! When it comes to blogging. So hopefully I can get into it more! Thank you to those who really like my blog! That means a lot to me. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
