Welcome to our very first Pregnancy Update...of our Third Pregnancy...we are over the moon about being on this journey again! Such a beautiful thing. We have know for a couple of weeks now...but I have been hella sick and not motivated to sit and update until now! I am still very nauseous and tired...but I can manage actually sitting and writing now. We have been thinking a lot about Baby #3 since our second Baby (Jens) turned a Year Old...and we thought what the heck...let's just see what happens...and...BAM...preggers again. So welcome to our blog...and welcome to our journey to becoming parents of 3!!!! I want to make it very similar to my posts with our previous pregnancy...in the sense of having the weekly updates of questions about how I am feeling...as well as updates on Baby's Milestones and Development...and of course baby bump pictures...cause ya gotta show that bump off...even if your not feeling very attractive at times.
Pregnancy is such a beautiful thing and not something you should feel weird or uncomfortable sharing...which is why I am here....and leads me to my next thing...I am going to start doing Youtube video's again...I am so sad I stopped with my second pregnancy, but have motivated myself to start them up again and hope to make Youtube a part of my life. I feel like putting myself out there (which I know is not for everyone) is a scary thing to do...but I know personally...it helps me to really sink deep and bring out the person I am...it makes me feel like a better person...it makes me feel like my life matters...cause sometimes in my own personal life I feel like I don't. Which is why I love to write and am excited to finally get back at it. Sorry for making this so long...I will get on with the update of our pregnancy now :) Enjoy! *basing my information on my iPhone apps (the bump & What to Expect when your Expecting) We have our very first Ultrasound booked for September 11th in Edmonton. We are unsure as to when our actual Due Date is but that is exactly why we have our Ultrasound...to find out our Due Date! But my guess is us being due April 7th, 2015...so I will go with that date for now...until we figure out the actual date. This is based on me guessing when my last period was...which would be around July 1st. We found out we were pregnant on Thursday August 7th by taking a home pregnancy test that read positive. We had a Doctor's appointment Monday August 11th and had our pregnancy confirmed. Positive...as my Doctor walked into the room giving me the thumbs up :) Hehe. The past couple of weeks have been so hard...I weaned my little Jens off the boob because I was far too tired from growing a baby and breastfeeding too. So it was super emotional for me to have to do that...and very painful...even though we were only nursing once a day. But the fatigue is seriously killing me guys....like for real...and this nausea crap...is something else...I don't think I have felt this sick through any of the pregnancies before. It's fierce. I was doing great with working out on a regular basis but because I have felt so nauseous and tired...I have kinda fallen off the wagon but hope to pick myself back up and at least work on some prenatal yoga in the evenings...I do want to keep running a couple times a week though...but now it's been a week and a half since I've gone....so we'll see what happens. I get a bit of heartburn here and there and some cramps from my uterus stretching again. I swear I am growing already...definitely not baby...but my uterus is not wasting time to stretch out again. It remembers... How far along? 7 Weeks & 4 Days Pregnant How big is baby? The size of a blueberry. 0.15 inches. About baby? Baby already doubled in size since last week. We are in the process of figuring out what we want to do for announcing the pregnancy. We are most likely going to tell a few Family members the end of this week, but we'll see. So exciting. A few people know already, and it's funny because a lady that comes to my knitting group asked my good friend Jan (Who knows we are expecting) if we are expecting. Jan was caught off guard and asked her why she thought that. She said she sees me and just thought I might be...WOW...so we better get on telling the Family before more people suspect. haha. I am feeling great, feeling pregnant that's for sure. Nauseous, tired....oh so tired. Thanks for stopping by, ...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, So time flies when you are pregnant!!! There were so many things I wanted to do. Like write in my journal everyday, take measurements and weight every week, go for a walk every night, eat better (which I do most of the time) But wow is it amazing at how many of these things I cannot keep up with. I keep using the "I'm Pregnant...and tired" excuse. Well no more I have to get in shape here for our little one. I want as much information about us being pregnant as I possible can come up with for them to look at later! I want every week to be special and it is so far, but I need to get my act in gear and journal more often and make more video's and stuff! Anyways Week 6 & 7 were pretty darn great. I am really enjoying being pregnant! It is such a blessing. Yes I have my days that I feel awful and hungry and huge and bloated! LOL! But all in all it is by far the best thing I can have happen to me. Hubby is soo cute too every night before bed we give each other a good night kiss and every since I found out I was pregnant he has been kissing the "baby" as well! So cute!!! Jayden is so excited and I am so happy to because I know that is going to be an amazing Father...just like his Dad :) What great men in this Family! Week 6 I bought my first Maternity clothes....(I know what you are thinking...isn't that early Cynthia?) NO it's not too early, I cannot fit any of my clothes! Seriously it is annoying. All of my clothes are so dang tight, except for my sweat pants and I refuse to look lazy while being pregnant. I want to show off my belly and really present myself in a way that says "wow she is so fashionable and pregnant" She is well put together! (as I write this I am in my jammies and a huge over sized long sleeved shirt! LOL! Yeah like the video says not a lot going on these weeks. Just normal and getting into a routine! How big is baby Week 6? Well baby is so small at this point...still! No bigger than a nail head! Baby's jaws, cheeks, and chin are developing this week! And the kidneys, liver and lungs! Heart is beating 80 times per minute and getting faster each day! WOW! That is amazing stuff going on in there! 6 Week Bump :) How big is baby Week 7? Baby is 10,000 times bigger now than at conception! Isn't that for amazing facts of the week! This week (7th week) baby is the size of a "blueberry" This week the baby's mouth and tongue are forming and the little arm and leg buds. Kidney's are in place this week! Week 7 of our Pregnancy :) This was middle of day and probably a lot of baby bloat! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
