Hello there! Well I am getting all packed and ready for us to make the trip to the Hospital (whenever that will be) I figured it was about time to get the Hospital bag packed. I am sure there are other little things I need to put in there...and I also need to pack a little bag for Jayden and I too. I have been so chill with this whole pregnancy. I am extremely excited to meet this little man but find it a bit odd that I haven't been scrubbing floors with a toothbrush! I don't have that "urge" this time around to go through a hardcore nesting period...which to me is weird cause I did that with each of my previous pregnancies! I guess I kind of just feel like it doesn't matter how "organized" or "prepared" I try to be...those first couple of weeks just fly by after having a baby. I am just so excited to meet this little man and know that whatever I stress about getting done...just doesn't matter...what matters is Him <3 We have our Prenatal Appointment this afternoon at 4pm and I will be getting my first Membrane Sweep done (hopefully). I have been feeling very nauseous lately and just kind of icky...like a yucky feeling (which I haven't felt with the first two pregnancies) So who knows...maybe the sweep will do something. Wish us luck, good thoughts and prayers! When we got the sweep done with the first 2 pregnancies it did nothing. I cannot believe that tomorrow I will be 38 Weeks Pregnant though! Seems surreal to me. How fast this pregnancy flew by. I think I am gonna try and work on some posts this week while I have time just waiting for his arrival. Hope to get the 37 Week Update complete and a couple other ideas I have too. P.s- Love the little sneak peek of his First Initial in that picture? Baby "A" Madsen! So can't wait to share his name with you all. Jayden came home with that letter yesterday, so he will paint it and that will go up above his crib along with that super cute picture. I can't wait to finish all the decorating in his nursery <3 But that will come in time. Something I won't stress about finishing before he arrives..it's not like he'll be in there for the first little bit anyways! This is what little Baby Madsen will be coming home in <3
Have a good rest of the week everyone! Thanks for stopping by! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia

Hello, So I woke up feeling like I am gonna have a baby any time now. I was up off and on throughout the night with cramps, feeling pretty nauseous and very uncomfortable. So maybe he will arrive very shortly. So I made my list of things to do today (which consists of cleaning out our van and getting the car seat set up, washing his new cloth diapers and my cloth breast pads, sterilizing my breast pump and his soothers, getting all the baby chairs, swing etc cleaned and ready, tidying the main living area, kitchen and bathroom downstairs, getting our hospital bag packed and probably a few other things...maybe a grocery run for a few things as well) But anyways I am looking over some of my blog posts and just updating the last of them until he arrives. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the photoshoot we did with our amazing photographer Her name is Samantha and her business is called Elephant Shoes Photography. Go check her out...she is amazing. http://elephantshoes.net/ Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did. I love it when photographers are so awesome and make you look so flawless. Pregnancy is such a beautiful thing and I am so happy we decided to go with her :)
...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, We are 33 Weeks Pregnant. This is crazy. So crazy. He will be here is 7 Weeks or less. On Saturday...I woke up screaming almost crying with a HUGE charlie horse...luckily Hubby knew exactly what was going on as I was stuffing my face into my pillow trying not to cry...he was able to make it go away pretty quick by rubbing my leg and straightening my leg/foot. Holy Moly did that hurt. I definitely boosted my water intake the next day...and my friend told me to eat grapefruit, so I went out and bought a bunch...I actually love grapefruit anyways. Someone also said Banana's...it's a good thing I have been craving fruit lately...cause I have no problem eating more of them. OMG watermelon is so freakin good these days. I decided to get our Master Bedroom cleaned up....there were dust bunnies all under our bed and behind furniture. We have started to notice that the Condo we live in is very dusty. There is a main road just outside of our house and I am sure those huge log trucks don't help the dust much at all...so this is something I have been having to adjust to. Definitely gonna be sure to do a dust/sweep at least every Week or two from now on. So I moved all of our furniture around...and made a little "Nursury Corner" for this little dude. I even hung up the Paper cranes that were sitting there for about a month. I will post pictures of a tour of our Bedroom once we get it finished completely...just needs a few little final touches as well as some more organization stuff and it will be done. I don't know if I mentioned this in the last post or not...but I started a Pinterest Board of recipes I want to make before Baby comes (of things that I can prep now and freeze) and then I also made a board for after Baby comes...and that is basically a board of healthy recipes. I am not kidding when I say that I am more than excited for this little man to come so that I can get my body back. No more being lazy like the last time I squeezed out a Baby...this time No Mr. Nice Mom...I am going to be the biggest hard a...s...s on myself...healthy eats after he arrives. Then when the Doctor gives me the 'Ok" to start adding more fitness than I will do that. But I think being prepared and making lists and recipes will help out with getting right on track a nice and healthy way. So this Weekend as well as the next few weeks to come I will be making more meals to freeze...and more lists of weekly meals I want to follow...snack ideas and all that jazz. I am so excited for our Maternity Photoshoot on Saturday though...My Mom sent me a package and it arrived Today...in it was a Metis Sash, so stoked to wrap it around my pregnant belly and get pictures...then wrap it around my newborn Son and get pictures later. Love. How is Mama doing? Well I am doing great. Definitely more energy now...and more and more on my mind of things to get done around here. Braxton Hicks are definitely getting more and more often everyday. I would say 1-10 ish in a day is pretty normal this time. Sometimes they are so painful. Mostly just uncomfortable is all. He is moving all the time, he gets hiccups a few times a day, He sits on my blatter...pretty much most of the day. I am starting to feel more and more pressure at times, and I do get a little worried when it is hard to walk because there is so much pressure. I'll definitely need to bring it up with the Doc. My Feet are pretty swollen by the end of the day, especially when I have been on them all day (another thing I will mention to the Doc) Other than all those yucky symptoms, I am loving pregnancy and am so Thankful that I get to experience this again. I definitely stop and enjoy the moments of his movements, or his little hiccups. I cannot believe how fast the time is going. How Big is Baby for Week 33? He is the size of a Durian Fruit. Weighing in at about 4.2-5.8 lbs and measuring at about 17.2-18.7 inches. Yikes. It is crazy to think that Isaiah was just a few ounces more than that and pretty much that length... Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy! How far along? 33 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: No more tracking... Maternity clothes? Basic Tee from H&M and my Thyme Maternity grey pants :) Stretch marks? Just itchy so I think they are starting. Sleep: Yes. Best moment this week: Hanging up the Paper Cranes Miss anything? Not really. Movement: Yes more and more everyday...I cannot believe how much he moves. Food cravings: Fruit Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, Fetal Movement, Charlie Horse Belly button in or out? In (wants to be out) Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or moody most of the time: I definitely have my Mood swings lately...super pregnant... Looking forward to: Our Photoshoot on Saturday Thanks so much for stopping by...can't believe I can have a baby in 4-7 ish weeks....
...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, So we wanted to do something really special and creative to share the news with our Family! We thought it would be really fun to do a project together that would be a huge surprise to our Family! So I got this really great idea from this Mom on Youtube (I watch her channel and I learn so much from her) These are the things we needed: Onesies, Fabric Paint, Gift Bags, Diapers, and Coloured Gift Paper. They idea was to write on the onesies "I <3 Grandma" "I <3 Grandpa" "I <3 Uncle _____" and so on! The actual experience of doing this together was unforgettable...there I go being all mushy again. But it's true, there was such an awesome vibe in the room while Jayden and I worked on these together! It is almost like we see and love each other at a whole different level in our relationship :) (mmm special K with red berries as I write this) We had some awesome Christian music playing in the background as we made these little gifts! It was so fun! Here are the pics of how they turned out! Thanks so much for stopping by :) ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
