Hello there, There really isn't a whole lot to update on for this week. I have been very...very tired...like extremely tired. I have a bit of a cold, so I think the combination of that and chasing after two boys who have recovered from the flu running around...I guess I would be tired! LOL! But oh how wonderful it is to have happy healthy kids again! What a strain it was on all of us! I didn't get around to filming my 29 Week Update though :( Boo for that! I am sorry for always saying I will next week...next week...next week. But my goal is to get on with this youtube thing and really making it a part of my life. It is something I want to do...I will put my mind to it and my energy...and I will get there and accomplish that dream I have. Baby steps. I still have a sore lower back (I was not feeling well when my chiropractor appointment was scheduled) so I ended up cancelling! But I am looking forward to going on a weekly basis. I've been experiencing a bit of heartburn this week...more than previous weeks that's for sure. Anyways that is really all that is new on my end. Here are my questions for the week. Enjoy! How far along? 29 Weeks 6 Days! How big is baby? Baby is as Big as a Acorn Squash. 15.2-16.7 inch long & 2.5-3.8lbs! He's growing white fat deposits under his skin, and his energy is surging because of it. If you feel twitching...baby might be hiccuping. Total weight gain and bump measurements: 169lbs. No belly measurement. Maternity clothes? Shirt is from H&M Maternity, Jeans are from Motherhood Maternity & Scarf is from Ardene. Stretch marks? None. Movement: He's a ninja! Food cravings: Toast with Butter. Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: A Boy! Labor signs: Nope. Symptoms: Movement, Sore Back, Mild Heartburn, extreme fatigue Belly button in or out? In. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or moody most of the time: Happy. Looking forward to: Our Anniversary Weekend next month! Thanks for reading! See ya next week!

Hello, Well 1 more Week down. 11 More to go! This is crazy to me. Soon enough our little man will be in our arms. This is something I cannot even begin to imagine possible. Lol. I can't believe how fast time is going. I feel like I am pretty much done with this pregnancy. Lol. I am getting tired, my feet hurt, I feel HUGE, I feel as big as a house...as big as I was with the 38 mark of my Pregnancy with Isaiah. And I still have 11 Weeks left. We'll see if the growing will slow down. I am thankful however to still fit my clothing...I must give myself that, my 2 Mat pairs of pants I have still fit just fine, and I have lots of shirts I can still wear. Although I am starting to feel lots of growing every week going on in my Belly (obviously) and I am starting to feel it in my Thighs and butt ;( Boo. Something I didn't want to happen. But that is the many joys of being pregnant apparently. At least I still fit my clothes. Enough feeling sorry for myself. I have had it...haha...I should be so Thankful to get to experience Pregnancy (and believe me...I truly am) I Love it all, you gotta take the many changes with your body in pregnancy with all the amazing outcomes of it! Soon enough I will be holding our little boy in my arms for the very first time! Staring down that the beautiful little face as he wonders where the heck he is. Kissing him for the first time, Cuddling him for the first time, Changing him for the first time, Breastfeeding him for the first time, Bathing him for the first time, Introducing Isaiah to him for the first time. Eeeek I am so excited for what is about to happen on this journey of having another Baby...another Boy <3 Pure Love is all I feel at this very moment. This Baby has already got a complete different sense of character than Isaiah did. I cannot believe how different they are in Utero than one another. Isaiah was so calm, so chill, hardly really moved around (unless music was blaring), had the hiccups often, but just so chill is the only way I can describe him. This little man however...YIKES. He has is wake up time anywhere between 2-4 am (doing the craziest dance routine I can imagine), he is constantly moving, has the hiccups all the time, when music plays...he is seriously rocking out (like his brother did...but I would say even more so), Constantly twirling (changing positions) Scraping his hands, feet against the my belly...Yup he is on the move all day long. We had our Ultrasound on Monday! The Tech said that Baby is doing great and is nice and healthy. She said he (although she wasn't able to verify this time...cause he had his legs crossed) has a perfect little face. It was awesome how she was able to describe to us how he was lying when we went in though. But I am 95% he is always rotating his positions because where she said his head was...his hiccups were the complete opposite of that the next day. So I am pretty sure he just moves all the time, and doesn't like to stay in one position. But yay for having a good ultrasound. I will get the results back in full detail from the doctor at the end of May (I had one more month of an appointment every month...and then I get to go to an appointment every 2 weeks...which is when it gets crazy) Baby Buys for the Week: So I went to a store in Edson the other day and picked these little outfits up for the little man. It was kind of a Thrift Store deal...but they also sold some new stuff too. I think the total was like $10 or something like that. Lol. Score! Little sleeper was $1.99, 2 Piece $4.99, Rock one-sie $1.99, and little long sleeved shirt $2.49...that's a steal of a deal! haha! I remember my Mom only using these on my brother and sister when they were babies...I have looked for these at several different stores and could never find any, so I always just used the regular q-tips. But I always had a fear of putting them too far in Isaiah's ears after a bath (I know, I know "Your NOT suppose to put them in ears" but I for one hate it when my ears have water in them after a shower...and I have always done it this way) So now I won't be paranoid when cleaning out babies ears (or Isaiah's)! I got these on sale for $0.99 each! ;) Ok so I am finally adding in my Mama Buys from a few weeks ago. I have to do it now, because I am going into Edmonton again on the 6th to do more shopping for myself and I will have to do a Mama/Baby buys section on that one as well. I plan on getting all of my nursing tops/bra's/pads...etc, as well as a few last minute things for the baby, a few outfits, creams, lotions etc. Maternity Shirts: Black from H&M basic top, Navy Blue from H&M basic top (don't remember price, but I think $10 each sounds about right) Navy Prints Cream shirt from Thyme Maternity ($15 ish) Maternity Pants & Tanks: Grey Pants from Thyme Maternity ($30 ish) Shorts I got used for $10. The Tanks tops are actually from Target (I got a while back) They were I think $15 each. This "Nursing" Scarf is from Thyme Maternity it was about $15. I will definitely be making more of these. They seriously look like a huge square (but they are also circular) How does Mama feel? I feel pretty darn tired. This pregnancy is doing a number on my body. Lol. I enjoy pregnancy and am loving every moment of it. But I must say that it is definitely hard at times. The Heartburn is not helping. This heartburn is weird though...I have never felt anything like it! With Isaiah it was mostly a sharp pain in my lungs and was hard to breath...but I didn't get it very often with him...when I did...it was BAD...but it only happened a handful of times with him. This pregnancy however, yes it does feel similar at times with the sharp pain in the lungs...but it's mostly in my throat with this one. I feel like I have to burp, and it is very uncomfortable :( My back hurts...actually it hurts a lot of the time. I feel massive. I want to be done so I can get my body back. I know I know stop complaining....but seriously this has been really hard on me. It doesn't help that I started with 5 Extra pounds going into this pregnancy than I did with the last one. So that is pure motivation right there to get on track a few weeks after I deliver this cutie. Other than those two major symptoms I am doing great and feel pretty great to. I love everything else to do with pregnancy, especially the thought of growing another little person. How Big is Baby for Week 29? Baby is the size of an Acorn Squash! Weighs about 2.5-3.8 lbs, and measures about 15.2-16.7. Awesome. Here are my Q's for the Week! Enjoy! How far along? 29 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: 6.2 Weight Gain (I forgot to weigh in last week so the previous week was 168.8) I am now 175 lbs. 1.5 inch increase since 2 Weeks ago. Belly is measuring at 44.5 inches. Maternity clothes? My flowy white top is from Thyme Maternity (I bought it for my first pregnancy photoshoot) and my maternity grey pants are from Thyme Maternity ;) Stretch marks? Not sure. I think so Sleep: It's getting more and more uncomfortable...but I can't complain! Best moment this week: Seeing Baby via Ultrasound Miss anything? No Movement: All the time! Food cravings: Deep fried Pickles! oooh and corndogs Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Fatigue, Discomfort, Heartburn Belly button in or out? In but wants to pop...but can't Wedding rings on or off? on (but I am starting to notice if I leave them on when sleeping, my finger is very swollen in the morning...so I have been taking it off. Happy or moody most of the time: Happy most of the time! Looking forward to: Sewing some projects for Baby! As for pictures I didn't get around to doing any normal ones (the ones Jayden always takes of me every week) But I did take a few with my iPhone for instagram. LOL. So this is all I have for this week. Thanks so much for stopping by. Yay Summer!!!
...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello,
Yikes it has been to long. No video. Sorry. For those of you that like them. Maybe I will do one soon. But anyways I thought I should fill you in on the weeks that I missed. Just in case some of you were wondering! 20-23 Weeks: I officially signed up for the W.I.N Program (Women Infant Nutrition) so that was really cool. Some benefits for joining are I get coupons when we meet....coupons that I can use at the grocery store for like free milk and other dairy, vegetables, and fruit/juices. But that's not the reason I joined...it is a really fun group I already met some great people (Mom's) through it. There is something about meeting and learning about babies and meeting other people with the same things going on as you isn't there? I LOVE this program. It should be a blast once we start up full force again this fall! Jayden and I Celebrated our 4 Year Wedding Anniversary on the 16th of June! :) We had a Family Reunion July 11-14th (23 Weeks Pregnant) it was super fun. We have one every 3 Years on Hubby's side (so this was my second one) It was so exciting to have our baby to be prayed for and loved as much as some of the older generation showed! WOW! 24-27 Weeks: I started meeting with some ladies from my church on Wednesday to sew with them. I sewed a few things since then (especially things for my little niece)! July 30th (25 Weeks 5 Days) My little niece Isla Lynn Madsen joined us. She is lovely :) I meet every Monday with some ladies I know and we crochet/knit together...then we meet again during the week at a local coffee shop that has the best Carmel Mocha Latte's :) Oh the joys of being a Housewife! What more can I ask for? 28-29 Weeks: August 17th (28 Weeks 2 Days)We had a Doctor's appointment she said everything was going super well and that it was time to take our Glucose test! So I did that a few days later. I hate getting poked...I hate it so much!!! LOL! Also she said we are now going to meet every 2 weeks instead of every month! The 19th I got my blood tests done! Aug 20-25th In Edmonton researching some baby things to buy...then we went and visit with my Family for a few days. We mended some relationships that needed mending. Thank you for your Prayers on that. It is really nice to fix things when they are broken...especially with Family! I Love you Mom & Dad...always!!!! WE got a call from our Doctor saying the Glucose test came back positive!!! EEEKK!!! What a scare!!! So we went for another test. Which took over 3 hours of being at the hospital and having to drink that gross drink again (which messed up my system for several days after) Then we had our regular scheduled Doctor's appointment a few days later. The results then came back Negative. So YAY for not have Diabetes!!!!! 30 Weeks: We had another Doctor's appointment (because it is every 2 weeks now not every month) and I noticed that the baby always has the hiccups down below in my "lower" regin like super low so I asked the Doctor if that meant the baby's head was down....she checked and sure enough it is. So let's hope it stays that way. I have gained 18 pounds so far in this pregnancy. Doctor says she is happy with my weight gain. If she's happy...I'm happy!!!! My Belly is 30 Inches according to the Doc! I have been having pretty restless sleeps during 30 weeks. Waking up and thinking that I had a lot to do before my Baby get's here. Stupid things like cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming...and then things like what car seat are we going to buy? LOL Yeah it's been...awesome!!!! 31 Weeks: We had our first Prenatal Class! It was awesome. Our Best Friends are in it too...so that's cool! I have been feeling baby a lot lately. I am starting to notice how it is starting to sit and where it's head is and where it's feet are. I LOVE feeling movements especially it's hiccups! I am becoming so in Love with my Baby I am enjoying every moment of it's growing and learning. Soon enough I will be able to see this beautiful little face and hands and feet and nose and ears and hair. I wonder every day how it will look. Like it's Dad? Like Me? I am so filled with Wonder of this little creation. I thank God everyday for giving us this beautiful gift of life inside me. How Amazing! Symptoms these past few months! Honestly I am safe to say that this pregnancy has been AMAZING so far! I am so lucky to experience this. I have bonded so much with this little person inside me and I have become so much closer in my Walk. I am tired...here and there! I get heartburn...here and there (take 2 tums and I am good to GO) I wake up to pee about 4 times a night...but fall asleep once my head hits the pillow again! My "chest area" hurts now and then...but nothing to complain about! Yeah I wish I could get to say more...but honestly I don't have anything to say. It has seriously been a blast being pregnant. If pregnancy was like this every time...we would be in trouble...because I would want like 10 kids and counting! LOL! Anyways that's enough for my novel. The next one will be shorter! Thanks for reading! Sorry I didn't make a video instead but it would have been like 30 minutes long if I made this into a video! If I keep on top of things I could literally make 2 minute video's. No belly shot today either. I'm lazy! haha! When it comes to blogging. So hopefully I can get into it more! Thank you to those who really like my blog! That means a lot to me. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
