(Blog post from November 19th, 2012- 6 Weeks 3 Days Pregnant) Hello, So Week 6 is here. I am actually a few days over 6 Weeks. I will eventually be on the ball. I am actually really excited to document this journey. It's very exciting. I cannot believe that we get to have another baby. We are so blessed, and we realize that not everyone can even have babies, so we are so thankful that we are able to. I pray that everything goes really great with this pregnancy and that this baby grows nice and healthy. I definitely feel pregnant now, I have some crazy symptoms lately. As we speak I feel extremely nauseous....still no puking (thank Jesus) but still gross feeling. How big is Baby for Week 6? The Ebryo is the size of a sweet pea. About .25 inches and will double in size again by next week! How far along? 6 Weeks and 3 Days Total weight gain and bump measurements: -2 lbs. I lost this week. I am 155 lbs! (It's known to happen for women in the first trimester) 34 Inch Bump (stayed the same) Maternity clothes? Yes, and my wardrobe has grown. I am still wearing a lot of my pre-pregnancy clothes though, not really the maternity jeans yet either. But we are going shopping in about 2 Weeks to buy some more things I will use during this pregnancy, like at least 2 more pairs of mat pants and some mat yoga pants too. My main goal with this pregnancy is to just stay comfortable but to still feel pretty/sexy. Grey H&M Maternity Shirt (from my last pregnancy) Stretch marks? No, just the ones from Isaiah and weight gain over the Years. Sleep: I sleep amazing. When I can finally get comfortable. I find at night time, right before sleep is when I am the most comfortable and I think it is from sitting on the couch. Maybe I should start incorporating some prenatal yoga into my bedtime routine. That might help with the discomfort. Best moment this week: Watching my wardrobe grow. We are actually telling the Family this Weekend though so I am pretty sure that will take the "Best Moment this Week" prize. Miss anything? Coffee, I have cut down my caffeine intake loads. I am down to about 1/2 cup a day. I am getting used to drinking decaf, or no coffee at all. Movement: Not yet. Food cravings: Day Old Nacho's (yes you read right...gross hey?) and Pickles. Anything making you queasy or sick: Eggs, and dirty diapers. Gender: Don't know (I think it's a girl) Labor signs: No. Symptoms: Sore Breasts/nipples, Nausea, Fatigue, I can feel my uterus growing (crampy feeling) Belly button in or out? In. Wedding rings on or off? On Happy or moody most of the time: Lonely. My Hubby is at work all day. I miss my Family and I can't wait to tell everyone Looking forward to: My Growing Baby Bump! Thanks for stopping by ;) Means a lot to me.

Hello, So time flies when you are pregnant!!! There were so many things I wanted to do. Like write in my journal everyday, take measurements and weight every week, go for a walk every night, eat better (which I do most of the time) But wow is it amazing at how many of these things I cannot keep up with. I keep using the "I'm Pregnant...and tired" excuse. Well no more I have to get in shape here for our little one. I want as much information about us being pregnant as I possible can come up with for them to look at later! I want every week to be special and it is so far, but I need to get my act in gear and journal more often and make more video's and stuff! Anyways Week 6 & 7 were pretty darn great. I am really enjoying being pregnant! It is such a blessing. Yes I have my days that I feel awful and hungry and huge and bloated! LOL! But all in all it is by far the best thing I can have happen to me. Hubby is soo cute too every night before bed we give each other a good night kiss and every since I found out I was pregnant he has been kissing the "baby" as well! So cute!!! Jayden is so excited and I am so happy to because I know that is going to be an amazing Father...just like his Dad :) What great men in this Family! Week 6 I bought my first Maternity clothes....(I know what you are thinking...isn't that early Cynthia?) NO it's not too early, I cannot fit any of my clothes! Seriously it is annoying. All of my clothes are so dang tight, except for my sweat pants and I refuse to look lazy while being pregnant. I want to show off my belly and really present myself in a way that says "wow she is so fashionable and pregnant" She is well put together! (as I write this I am in my jammies and a huge over sized long sleeved shirt! LOL! Yeah like the video says not a lot going on these weeks. Just normal and getting into a routine! How big is baby Week 6? Well baby is so small at this point...still! No bigger than a nail head! Baby's jaws, cheeks, and chin are developing this week! And the kidneys, liver and lungs! Heart is beating 80 times per minute and getting faster each day! WOW! That is amazing stuff going on in there! 6 Week Bump :) How big is baby Week 7? Baby is 10,000 times bigger now than at conception! Isn't that for amazing facts of the week! This week (7th week) baby is the size of a "blueberry" This week the baby's mouth and tongue are forming and the little arm and leg buds. Kidney's are in place this week! Week 7 of our Pregnancy :) This was middle of day and probably a lot of baby bloat! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
