Hello, I think it is absolutely insane that in 10 short weeks our Baby will be Full term and therefore be safe to arrive at any given time. Crazy. There is so much to do and I am definitely feeling the pressure. Although when I do think about it (I will make a list of what needs to get done so I can start tackling it) There really isn't that much to do...but they are just time consuming. I am getting so darn excited to meet this little man...this little one that has been kicking me for the past few months :)
My Birthday is creeping up as well. I can't believe I will be 27 Years Old. This blows my mind! I always said I wanted to be done having our Children by the time I was 30 Years Old. But since we want to have a couple more after this Babe...I will be hitting the 30's while still going strong with the baby making :) Hehe. I just have to convince Hubby that 4 just isn't enough for us! Really...Really...why can't I have 4+ Children? Who says? Why do you only have to have 2-3 now a days??? Back then they had BIG families. My Kookum (Grandmother) had 6 Children. 4 Girls and 2 Boys (1 Girl passed away as a baby I have never met her...and 1 of my Uncles passed away about 5 Years ago) But I really admire my Kookum. Especially considering her babies are all close in age and the last born where 2 of them (twins) I Love my Kookum, So proud of her and what she has done in life! I often catch myself dreaming of having a big Family like she did. We have it so easy in today's world, imagine how they lived back then? Imagine doing laundry in a bucket with a wash board...or heating water...gah...we have it easy. So there it is my dream of being a Mama to a billion kids. Haha! How does Mama feel? Well as we speak I got some heartburn...I actually had it all day today, just chillin in my throat all day. Puke. I feel uncomfortable. I feel sooo tired. But I also feel great too...if that makes sense. I feel lots of movement from this little man. Lots of kicking and punching, and some hiccups once and a while, and a whole lot of turning. Definitely feeling it on the ol' bladder as well, which is not a fun thing. I am feeling like I want to start getting things down around my house...like really start getting them done. How Big is Baby for Week 27? The size of a Rutabaga! 13.6-14.8 Inches long, and 1.5-2.5 pounds. This is the earliest baby can survive outside of Mama apparently if delivered prematurely. Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy! How far along? 27 Weeks Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: .2 Weight Loss Weight: 168.8 lbs. 1" increase 43 Inch Bump Maternity clothes? no pictures this week. Stretch marks? Hello,
Yikes it has been to long. No video. Sorry. For those of you that like them. Maybe I will do one soon. But anyways I thought I should fill you in on the weeks that I missed. Just in case some of you were wondering! 20-23 Weeks: I officially signed up for the W.I.N Program (Women Infant Nutrition) so that was really cool. Some benefits for joining are I get coupons when we meet....coupons that I can use at the grocery store for like free milk and other dairy, vegetables, and fruit/juices. But that's not the reason I joined...it is a really fun group I already met some great people (Mom's) through it. There is something about meeting and learning about babies and meeting other people with the same things going on as you isn't there? I LOVE this program. It should be a blast once we start up full force again this fall! Jayden and I Celebrated our 4 Year Wedding Anniversary on the 16th of June! :) We had a Family Reunion July 11-14th (23 Weeks Pregnant) it was super fun. We have one every 3 Years on Hubby's side (so this was my second one) It was so exciting to have our baby to be prayed for and loved as much as some of the older generation showed! WOW! 24-27 Weeks: I started meeting with some ladies from my church on Wednesday to sew with them. I sewed a few things since then (especially things for my little niece)! July 30th (25 Weeks 5 Days) My little niece Isla Lynn Madsen joined us. She is lovely :) I meet every Monday with some ladies I know and we crochet/knit together...then we meet again during the week at a local coffee shop that has the best Carmel Mocha Latte's :) Oh the joys of being a Housewife! What more can I ask for? 28-29 Weeks: August 17th (28 Weeks 2 Days)We had a Doctor's appointment she said everything was going super well and that it was time to take our Glucose test! So I did that a few days later. I hate getting poked...I hate it so much!!! LOL! Also she said we are now going to meet every 2 weeks instead of every month! The 19th I got my blood tests done! Aug 20-25th In Edmonton researching some baby things to buy...then we went and visit with my Family for a few days. We mended some relationships that needed mending. Thank you for your Prayers on that. It is really nice to fix things when they are broken...especially with Family! I Love you Mom & Dad...always!!!! WE got a call from our Doctor saying the Glucose test came back positive!!! EEEKK!!! What a scare!!! So we went for another test. Which took over 3 hours of being at the hospital and having to drink that gross drink again (which messed up my system for several days after) Then we had our regular scheduled Doctor's appointment a few days later. The results then came back Negative. So YAY for not have Diabetes!!!!! 30 Weeks: We had another Doctor's appointment (because it is every 2 weeks now not every month) and I noticed that the baby always has the hiccups down below in my "lower" regin like super low so I asked the Doctor if that meant the baby's head was down....she checked and sure enough it is. So let's hope it stays that way. I have gained 18 pounds so far in this pregnancy. Doctor says she is happy with my weight gain. If she's happy...I'm happy!!!! My Belly is 30 Inches according to the Doc! I have been having pretty restless sleeps during 30 weeks. Waking up and thinking that I had a lot to do before my Baby get's here. Stupid things like cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming...and then things like what car seat are we going to buy? LOL Yeah it's been...awesome!!!! 31 Weeks: We had our first Prenatal Class! It was awesome. Our Best Friends are in it too...so that's cool! I have been feeling baby a lot lately. I am starting to notice how it is starting to sit and where it's head is and where it's feet are. I LOVE feeling movements especially it's hiccups! I am becoming so in Love with my Baby I am enjoying every moment of it's growing and learning. Soon enough I will be able to see this beautiful little face and hands and feet and nose and ears and hair. I wonder every day how it will look. Like it's Dad? Like Me? I am so filled with Wonder of this little creation. I thank God everyday for giving us this beautiful gift of life inside me. How Amazing! Symptoms these past few months! Honestly I am safe to say that this pregnancy has been AMAZING so far! I am so lucky to experience this. I have bonded so much with this little person inside me and I have become so much closer in my Walk. I am tired...here and there! I get heartburn...here and there (take 2 tums and I am good to GO) I wake up to pee about 4 times a night...but fall asleep once my head hits the pillow again! My "chest area" hurts now and then...but nothing to complain about! Yeah I wish I could get to say more...but honestly I don't have anything to say. It has seriously been a blast being pregnant. If pregnancy was like this every time...we would be in trouble...because I would want like 10 kids and counting! LOL! Anyways that's enough for my novel. The next one will be shorter! Thanks for reading! Sorry I didn't make a video instead but it would have been like 30 minutes long if I made this into a video! If I keep on top of things I could literally make 2 minute video's. No belly shot today either. I'm lazy! haha! When it comes to blogging. So hopefully I can get into it more! Thank you to those who really like my blog! That means a lot to me. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
