Well I am jumping with joy today...because my diapers and some other things came in the mail. I was so excited to rip open the box and route through all the stuff I had ordered last week. WOW it got to me fast! So here is the scoop about the diapers: We really want to do as much cloth diapers as we possibly can...about 95-99% lol! I know we might still have to do the occasional disposable, but I am thankful that my gDiapers (order coming in the next few days) gives you the option to put in biodegradable inserts that act pretty much as a disposable but the biggest bonus being you can flush them...so there isn't waste going into the landfill! We love the idea of using cloth diapers on our little guy/girls bum! So we chose 2 brands gDiapers and bumGenius 4.0! The idea is to use the bumGenius as overnight diapers (because you can use double inserts in them for more absorbency) This video is showing my bumGenius with other diaper accessories Haul! I will do another one when my shipment of gDiapers come in...you'll know when they do because you will probably see me crying. We ordered some that are so tiny (6-10pounds) OMG! I cannot wait to open that package. I am 100% for Cloth diapers...and I have put years of research into them...I have been thinking of them for a few years now...before we even thought seriously of having a Baby! So today I opened the package and this is what I saw They have actually changed their company name from baby bellhop to New & Green Baby co. I was so excited to see everything :) I Love all the colors :) We went with neutral because we don't know what we are having!!!I lied in the video (I said that they gave me a sample...but I ordered this because you sprinkle it in the diaper pail when it starts to smell to take away odor....sorry! Then there are Doubler Inserts that are perfect for extra absorbency. Overnight would be the best time to use them :) A wet bag for when I am out and about with the Baby...perfect for the diaper bag...it could hold about 2 dirty diapers. I will maybe get some more for like dirty cloths and clothing and stuff :) This is for the toilet...to spray off any yucky diapers before tossing them in the diaper pail...it's also good for Mom's right after the birthing process...and I know T.M.I haha! A must have for cloth diapers. Also a Pail liner/Wet bag...that I will use in the nursery to toss the dirties in after I spray them of course. 3 Sizes :) Small (8-16 lbs), Medium (17-22 lbs), Large (23-35 lbs) I am so in love with them :) Anyways thanks for reading! I hope you liked it...and if you ever have any Q's please ask! I cannot wait to share more and more with everyone about my journey of being a Mama... and my daily activities! I love every moment of this experience and I can't wait to see our little angel for the first time! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia

Hello,
Yikes it has been to long. No video. Sorry. For those of you that like them. Maybe I will do one soon. But anyways I thought I should fill you in on the weeks that I missed. Just in case some of you were wondering! 20-23 Weeks: I officially signed up for the W.I.N Program (Women Infant Nutrition) so that was really cool. Some benefits for joining are I get coupons when we meet....coupons that I can use at the grocery store for like free milk and other dairy, vegetables, and fruit/juices. But that's not the reason I joined...it is a really fun group I already met some great people (Mom's) through it. There is something about meeting and learning about babies and meeting other people with the same things going on as you isn't there? I LOVE this program. It should be a blast once we start up full force again this fall! Jayden and I Celebrated our 4 Year Wedding Anniversary on the 16th of June! :) We had a Family Reunion July 11-14th (23 Weeks Pregnant) it was super fun. We have one every 3 Years on Hubby's side (so this was my second one) It was so exciting to have our baby to be prayed for and loved as much as some of the older generation showed! WOW! 24-27 Weeks: I started meeting with some ladies from my church on Wednesday to sew with them. I sewed a few things since then (especially things for my little niece)! July 30th (25 Weeks 5 Days) My little niece Isla Lynn Madsen joined us. She is lovely :) I meet every Monday with some ladies I know and we crochet/knit together...then we meet again during the week at a local coffee shop that has the best Carmel Mocha Latte's :) Oh the joys of being a Housewife! What more can I ask for? 28-29 Weeks: August 17th (28 Weeks 2 Days)We had a Doctor's appointment she said everything was going super well and that it was time to take our Glucose test! So I did that a few days later. I hate getting poked...I hate it so much!!! LOL! Also she said we are now going to meet every 2 weeks instead of every month! The 19th I got my blood tests done! Aug 20-25th In Edmonton researching some baby things to buy...then we went and visit with my Family for a few days. We mended some relationships that needed mending. Thank you for your Prayers on that. It is really nice to fix things when they are broken...especially with Family! I Love you Mom & Dad...always!!!! WE got a call from our Doctor saying the Glucose test came back positive!!! EEEKK!!! What a scare!!! So we went for another test. Which took over 3 hours of being at the hospital and having to drink that gross drink again (which messed up my system for several days after) Then we had our regular scheduled Doctor's appointment a few days later. The results then came back Negative. So YAY for not have Diabetes!!!!! 30 Weeks: We had another Doctor's appointment (because it is every 2 weeks now not every month) and I noticed that the baby always has the hiccups down below in my "lower" regin like super low so I asked the Doctor if that meant the baby's head was down....she checked and sure enough it is. So let's hope it stays that way. I have gained 18 pounds so far in this pregnancy. Doctor says she is happy with my weight gain. If she's happy...I'm happy!!!! My Belly is 30 Inches according to the Doc! I have been having pretty restless sleeps during 30 weeks. Waking up and thinking that I had a lot to do before my Baby get's here. Stupid things like cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming...and then things like what car seat are we going to buy? LOL Yeah it's been...awesome!!!! 31 Weeks: We had our first Prenatal Class! It was awesome. Our Best Friends are in it too...so that's cool! I have been feeling baby a lot lately. I am starting to notice how it is starting to sit and where it's head is and where it's feet are. I LOVE feeling movements especially it's hiccups! I am becoming so in Love with my Baby I am enjoying every moment of it's growing and learning. Soon enough I will be able to see this beautiful little face and hands and feet and nose and ears and hair. I wonder every day how it will look. Like it's Dad? Like Me? I am so filled with Wonder of this little creation. I thank God everyday for giving us this beautiful gift of life inside me. How Amazing! Symptoms these past few months! Honestly I am safe to say that this pregnancy has been AMAZING so far! I am so lucky to experience this. I have bonded so much with this little person inside me and I have become so much closer in my Walk. I am tired...here and there! I get heartburn...here and there (take 2 tums and I am good to GO) I wake up to pee about 4 times a night...but fall asleep once my head hits the pillow again! My "chest area" hurts now and then...but nothing to complain about! Yeah I wish I could get to say more...but honestly I don't have anything to say. It has seriously been a blast being pregnant. If pregnancy was like this every time...we would be in trouble...because I would want like 10 kids and counting! LOL! Anyways that's enough for my novel. The next one will be shorter! Thanks for reading! Sorry I didn't make a video instead but it would have been like 30 minutes long if I made this into a video! If I keep on top of things I could literally make 2 minute video's. No belly shot today either. I'm lazy! haha! When it comes to blogging. So hopefully I can get into it more! Thank you to those who really like my blog! That means a lot to me. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
