Hello, We have reached 23 Weeks. This is crazy to me...when I think about it. Baby is sure cookin' in there and I am enjoying it (even though I have to pee literally right after I leave the bathroom) Oh Joys of pregnancy. Baby is nuzzled nicely on my bladder and does not want to leave that spot! I Love it! Not a whole lot new this week. We started getting the boys bedroom ready (because they will be sharing a room after the first 4-8 Weeks of Baby being in our room) Isaiah got a big boy bed so we are getting that all organized and put together. Which is pretty awesome. My Kookum (Grandmother) gave us a whole bedroom set for Isaiah, and it is gorgeous! Goes really nice with the Crib as well. The only thing I think is weird (but hubby won't budge on) is having the change pad on the dresser with the mirror on it...but oh well at least reflections can make for easier diaper changes? Lol. I entered in a giveaway that my favorite cloth diaper website was having on some really cool new diapers they got in stock. Long story short she emailed me today and I WON the diaper :) So cool! I am so thankful for this and it makes me super excited because I really really love cloth diapering and think they are soo cute and fun...A fun way to make a dirty job fun! Lol. Here's a picture of the diaper I won and a link of my favorite website "New & Green"! Isn't it soo cute? Lol. I never win anything. So I am totally excited about this! Plus these diapers go for about $30 new...so this is huge for me ;) How is Mama Feeling? I am feeling pretty great, definitely starting to get into a bit of a nesting mode. Wanting to definitely declutter my house...and get ready for this little one. How Big is Baby for Week 23? Baby Madsen is the size of a grapefruit! He's about 10.5-11.8 inches long! Weighs about 12.7-20.8 ounces! Ears start to develop and his face and eyes are forming. He can listen now and really enjoys listening to Mama's heartbeat. Definitely moving a lot too! How far along? 23 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: .5 Weight Gain Weight: 162.8 lbs. 41.5 Inch Bump Maternity clothes? My Motherhood Skinny Jeans & a black basic maternity t-shirt from H&M. Stretch marks? No Sleep: Every night is a pretty darn good sleep. At least 1 pee break a night. Best moment this week: Winning a Grovia Cloth Diaper! Miss anything? Still that glass of red wine! Movement: Yes...especially to music Food cravings: FRUIT...I cannot get enough. Cut up dipped in Strawberry yogurt. Or in smoothies. Anything making you queasy or sick: We had Frittata the other day and I swear it tasted moldy (even though hubby said it tasted nothing like mold) Gender: Baby Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Tired, Sore Boobs, Uncomfortable Belly button in or out? in Wedding rings on or off? on Happy or moody most of the time: Happy a bit moody sometimes. Looking forward to: Seeing the "Zoolander Baby Face" again. I cannot believe how big I am feeling these days. Size HUGE! Lol. I must say though that my belly is definitely a different shape than it was with Isaiah...and I am so happy that I finally reached the part in the pregnancy where I have a BABY bump...that looks like a baby bump. I even got asked how far along I was the other day...by someone I just met (which was a little strange and made me think "wow people actually can tell now) This makes me so happy.
The last picture is a pic of me with Baby and his Ultrasound picture. We used this for our Gender Reveal party. It says beside his picture "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13 I think about this verse often, it is really special to know that there is a little person being formed inside of me. Love <3 ...following my dreams... -Cynthia

Hello,
Yikes it has been to long. No video. Sorry. For those of you that like them. Maybe I will do one soon. But anyways I thought I should fill you in on the weeks that I missed. Just in case some of you were wondering! 20-23 Weeks: I officially signed up for the W.I.N Program (Women Infant Nutrition) so that was really cool. Some benefits for joining are I get coupons when we meet....coupons that I can use at the grocery store for like free milk and other dairy, vegetables, and fruit/juices. But that's not the reason I joined...it is a really fun group I already met some great people (Mom's) through it. There is something about meeting and learning about babies and meeting other people with the same things going on as you isn't there? I LOVE this program. It should be a blast once we start up full force again this fall! Jayden and I Celebrated our 4 Year Wedding Anniversary on the 16th of June! :) We had a Family Reunion July 11-14th (23 Weeks Pregnant) it was super fun. We have one every 3 Years on Hubby's side (so this was my second one) It was so exciting to have our baby to be prayed for and loved as much as some of the older generation showed! WOW! 24-27 Weeks: I started meeting with some ladies from my church on Wednesday to sew with them. I sewed a few things since then (especially things for my little niece)! July 30th (25 Weeks 5 Days) My little niece Isla Lynn Madsen joined us. She is lovely :) I meet every Monday with some ladies I know and we crochet/knit together...then we meet again during the week at a local coffee shop that has the best Carmel Mocha Latte's :) Oh the joys of being a Housewife! What more can I ask for? 28-29 Weeks: August 17th (28 Weeks 2 Days)We had a Doctor's appointment she said everything was going super well and that it was time to take our Glucose test! So I did that a few days later. I hate getting poked...I hate it so much!!! LOL! Also she said we are now going to meet every 2 weeks instead of every month! The 19th I got my blood tests done! Aug 20-25th In Edmonton researching some baby things to buy...then we went and visit with my Family for a few days. We mended some relationships that needed mending. Thank you for your Prayers on that. It is really nice to fix things when they are broken...especially with Family! I Love you Mom & Dad...always!!!! WE got a call from our Doctor saying the Glucose test came back positive!!! EEEKK!!! What a scare!!! So we went for another test. Which took over 3 hours of being at the hospital and having to drink that gross drink again (which messed up my system for several days after) Then we had our regular scheduled Doctor's appointment a few days later. The results then came back Negative. So YAY for not have Diabetes!!!!! 30 Weeks: We had another Doctor's appointment (because it is every 2 weeks now not every month) and I noticed that the baby always has the hiccups down below in my "lower" regin like super low so I asked the Doctor if that meant the baby's head was down....she checked and sure enough it is. So let's hope it stays that way. I have gained 18 pounds so far in this pregnancy. Doctor says she is happy with my weight gain. If she's happy...I'm happy!!!! My Belly is 30 Inches according to the Doc! I have been having pretty restless sleeps during 30 weeks. Waking up and thinking that I had a lot to do before my Baby get's here. Stupid things like cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming...and then things like what car seat are we going to buy? LOL Yeah it's been...awesome!!!! 31 Weeks: We had our first Prenatal Class! It was awesome. Our Best Friends are in it too...so that's cool! I have been feeling baby a lot lately. I am starting to notice how it is starting to sit and where it's head is and where it's feet are. I LOVE feeling movements especially it's hiccups! I am becoming so in Love with my Baby I am enjoying every moment of it's growing and learning. Soon enough I will be able to see this beautiful little face and hands and feet and nose and ears and hair. I wonder every day how it will look. Like it's Dad? Like Me? I am so filled with Wonder of this little creation. I thank God everyday for giving us this beautiful gift of life inside me. How Amazing! Symptoms these past few months! Honestly I am safe to say that this pregnancy has been AMAZING so far! I am so lucky to experience this. I have bonded so much with this little person inside me and I have become so much closer in my Walk. I am tired...here and there! I get heartburn...here and there (take 2 tums and I am good to GO) I wake up to pee about 4 times a night...but fall asleep once my head hits the pillow again! My "chest area" hurts now and then...but nothing to complain about! Yeah I wish I could get to say more...but honestly I don't have anything to say. It has seriously been a blast being pregnant. If pregnancy was like this every time...we would be in trouble...because I would want like 10 kids and counting! LOL! Anyways that's enough for my novel. The next one will be shorter! Thanks for reading! Sorry I didn't make a video instead but it would have been like 30 minutes long if I made this into a video! If I keep on top of things I could literally make 2 minute video's. No belly shot today either. I'm lazy! haha! When it comes to blogging. So hopefully I can get into it more! Thank you to those who really like my blog! That means a lot to me. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia So we went to a Family Reunion a few months ago, and we were so lucky to get a photo shoot done of us while we were there. Jayden's cousin Will was so nice to take these pictures. It was his first "Baby Bump Shoot" so he was a little nervous as to what it was all about. I thought it he did great. He has such a good eye for photography...so it was nice to see him learning this field of photography! Here are some of the pictures he got of us! Again Will thank you a million for doing this for us! I wish you the best on your photography journey! Enjoy! Again thank you so much for taking the time to get these shots of us! They are so adorable. Our first Babe :) So special this time in our life. I was 23 Weeks Pregnant here for those of you who wanted to know!
