Hey! 37 Weeks has come and is going. I will be 38 Weeks tomorrow. This friends...is crazy! Today we have a prenatal appointment and I am going to ask to get my membrane sweep done. I remember wanting to get it done with Jens around this time last pregnancy but his little head wasn't low enough. So hopefully this guy will be ready (he still does seem a lot lower) but we'll see this afternoon. I hope we can get it done...and that it works...lol. Jayden has all of next week off...so baby coming a bit early would be absolutely perfect. But obviously we will be happy with whenever he decides he is ready. I am happy I still feel pretty awesome at this point considering I only have about 2 weeks left or so. Although the past couple of days have looked like this... Me feeling nauseous & just kind of yucky feeling (like the feeling you get when you are gonna have a baby soon) Also something a bit weird is my braxton hicks seem like they are lasting longer (I almost worry that they could even be small contractions...which wouldn't surprise me considering I had false labour with Jens for over a week) This is a fear of mine though...because guys...that really wasn't an experience I want to re-live! But it will be what it will be. I am ready for this. I want to meet this little man...this wait will have the death of me...because I seriously cannot wait to look into those sweet little eyes and introduce myself to the little person I have been growing for the past 9 Months <3 eeeee....I can't wait! I have been having lower back pain for sure :( It sucks. Today it is really bad, I haven't really done much for staying active this time around not even walking much (cause I have just had very low energy) so I think that has to do with just having a sore back..???? I just did a post this morning on getting packed for the hospital and talked a bit about how I just don't have that nesting "urge" this time around. This is true...it is honestly weird to me that I haven't been nesting like crazy. If anything I have to force myself to get things done...like putting his clothes away, getting diapers prepped, getting his sleeping arrangements sorted out. Lol. How strange. Mother's usually want to do this...or rather do it because their nesting mode kicks in full gear. Where is mine??? Lol. The thing about it is if he arrived today...Jayden and I would know what to do. We would be ready for him. He has clothes...he'll have food (the boob) he has diapers, he has a cradle...etc... I am honestly happy that I don't have that crazy "nesting" thing happen to me this time (yet) because I really don't want to scrub toilets with a toothbrush or get on my hands and knees to really clean floors and whatnot. Lol. I am being totally honest here! We did manage to get a bunch of frozen meals together so we don't have to worry too much about cooking for the first week or so. We did up some Lasagna's, Chicken Enchilada's, Meatballs, Chili's, Beef Stew & I am doing some Cabbage Rolls tonight! Anyways that is really all there is for an update this week. It is really just the "waiting game" now. Here are my questions for the week. How far along? 37 Weeks 6 Days! How big is baby? Baby is as Big as a Winter Melon. 18.9-20.9 Inches & 6.2-9.2lbs! He's practicing some skills: inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping and blinking. He's getting his first sticky poop (called meconium) ready for his first diaper. Total weight gain and bump measurements: 182lbs (Ok how did I gain 4lbs in 1 week???) my bump measures 46 inches! Maternity clothes? Maternity Shirt from H&M, Jeans from Thyme Maternity Stretch marks? Not that I know of...and I don't even feel itchy. Sleep: Sleep is getting uncomfortable. Best moment this week: Having Isaiah really understand that his little Brother is going to be here soon. He is getting so excited seeing us prepare things like, the crib, bouncy chair, swing, baby clothes...etc. Miss anything? My body... Movement: Yes he moves a fair amount still. I could tell he is getting pretty cramped in there though. Food cravings: Chocolate!!!! Anything making you queasy or sick: Yes. But I am not sure what. Gender: A Boy! Labor signs: Not that I know of...although the long braxton hicks make me wonder. Symptoms: fatigue, sore lower back, braxton hicks for longer periods, nausea, heartburn, pressure. Belly button in or out? In but it soooo wants to be out. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or moody most of the time: pretty happy. Looking forward to: Breastfeeding again...and getting back into running about 6 weeks PP. Thanks for stopping by. I didn't get around to getting a video done for this update. So tune in for my 38 Weeks Update or maybe even a Introducing of our new baby update! Eeee!

Hello, Wednesday I woke up off and on throughout the night needing to use the bathroom. I was feeling crampy (very crampy), uncomfortable, nauseous, and yeah just kind of off. I woke up about 3 times in the night and it took a while to get back to sleep. I finally woke up for the last time at 4:30 (tossed and turned) and then decided to get up and shower at 5:00 this morning. So it was quite the day. All I could think about was all that needed to be done that day (in order for this little guy to arrive) I got my last order of newborn cloth diapers in the mail...so I immediately went and put those in the wash (cause they need to be prepped...meaning washed/dried about 4 times) So I have spent pretty well the whole afternoon getting things done around here. I made a list of things to do (I think in the last blog post) and I am knocking those off today...because I have a STRONG feeling he is going to make an appearance in the next few days. My Father-in-Law came over today and steam cleaned our carpet going up the stairs as well as an area rug and touched a few spots on our couches. Seriously he is awesome. We have a few more things to do on the list...and Hubby should be home any minute now. I also picked up our new BEAUTIFUL diaper bag. So I got it all packed up as our hospital bag (just need to pack mine and Jayden's now (with a few things and our clothes) I cannot believe that I can have him any day from here on out. I feel nervous (very nervous this time around...even though I have been through it once before) I must say that I will be so much more prepared this time. Lol. I felt cramps off and on throughout the day as well and the odd braxton hicks. So not sure if it will pick up again or what. I haven't felt contractions yet...but I am gonna go for a walk tonight (if we get everything done) and see if that will do anything (Yes I do want him to come early...but I do understand that if he isn't ready than he won't come in the next few days) I will be happy with whatever happens. I could definitely be pregnant for another 2 Weeks and be perfectly happy...just an FIY! Friday we have our prenatal appointment (and I will be 38 Weeks Pregnant then...if I don't have him by then) so I will be getting the Membranes swept on Friday! So exciting...we'll see what happens! I am gonna get hubby to clean out his basement today after he get's home (I'll probably help him to...but that's his area of the house...and I want it to be cleaned and ready for baby's arrival) We will most likely be spending our time down there this summer and while Isaiah is down for the night! Baby Buys: My Mother-in-Law came home with these the other day for the new babe. I am guessing she got them at Winners :) They were all less than $10/per outfit My new diaper bag! I am seriously in love with it. It was our baby gift from my Mother and I could not be more excited about anything. It is absolutely the perfect size and I LOVE all the features it has to offer. So in love with the print as well :) Happy Mama over here. Best part is it will hold all of a newborns stuff and a toddlers stuff to (and probably Mama's stuff to) Keeping in mind I will have 2 cloth diapered children. This bag was about $180 New. So definitely Thankful for my Mom and her deciding to gift this to us! I picked these up today as well. Another Diaper pail bag and some of our favorite bum cream (all natural) The bag was $15 and the Big tub of cream was $22 and the small ones were $7. We have only used this with Isaiah (bought 2 tubs when he was about 1 month old...and we have only ever bought 1 more) so these last a really really long time (don't be discouraged by the price) especially for a chemical free product. Now we don't plan on using disposable diapers...like at all, but if we do need to use a few of them these are my favorite ones to use. I love pampers swaddlers. So I grabbed a bag (besides we can save them if we don't use them all...we know a lot of people having babies in the next few months who would probably be happy to take them off our hands) And of course Ovol was a staple for us to have on hand when Isaiah was a tiny baby...because he always had an upset tummy and it worked wonders for him (again probably has chemicals in it...but when it helps sooth your babies tummy it get's to that point where they do need a bit of help in the drug department....lol) I bought some more cloth diapers :) Eeeeeee!!! Well actually this was also a gift from my Mother. More for Isaiah at this point though (because we have to fix some of his grovia diaper covers.) I heard amazing things about the Flip diapers so thought I would go that route and wanted to aslo try Charlie Banana for quite some time now :) Then I just got a basic rumparooz diaper cover (fits all sizes) Although the baby will be able to use them as well. Which is why I added them in this post. Last but definitely not least is our newborn cloth diapers. We ordered from this amazing girl Annie. From Dick&Jane Cloth Diapers. Dick&Jane Cloth Diapers Facebook Page Dick&Jane Cloth Diapers Etsy Shop How is Mama Feeling? Well I already told you how I am feeling up at the top of the post :) That pretty much sums it up. Also a lot of heartburn lately....and I have dropped tonnes. How Big is Baby for Week 37? Baby is the size of a Winter Melon. He is about 18.9-20.9 Inches Long (although I highly doubt this because at 39 Weeks Isaiah was born at 17.5 haha) and weighs about 6.2-9.2lbs. How far along? 37 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: No more tracking... Maternity clothes? My H&M Striped Tee and regular yoga pants :) Stretch marks? Can't see them, but I am pretty sure I have some. Sleep: Yes. Best moment this week: getting the itty bitty cloth diapers and my new diaper bag in the mail. Miss anything? Not really. Movement: Yes. Tonnes Food cravings: Poutine Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Just Pregnant. Belly button in or out? In (wants to be out) Wedding rings on or off? On. Off at night. Happy or moody most of the time: Moody. Looking forward to: Being comfortable again. Thanks so much for stopping by. I cannot believe I could have this little man anytime now. Full term Baby!!!
