Hello!!! Well we are 37 Weeks today! But just throwing this update together quickly. My 36th week went really well. I am definitely starting to get into Nesting Mode. This baby is going to be here in no time. There are still some things to do!!! I am honestly feeling fantastic. I am shocked at how amazing I feel this far along into my pregnancy. At this point with Jens I am pretty sure I was miserable (but I guess it was also the middle of summer) There is only 1 thing I will be complaining about for week 36 and that is SLEEP. I sleep pretty good throughout the night...but when I wake up the one time to go and use the bathroom around 2-4am my body is so sore. My lower back kills. But the biggest problem is when I sleep on my right side and try to roll over to get out of bed it takes me like 5 minutes just to roll over because my hip like locks up. So not cool. It is very uncomfortable to only sleep on 1 side so I wake up a couple times in the night to roll over to the other side to help stay comfortable. It does work...but not so much when it locks up like I was just explaining. I feel great otherwise though. Definitely slowing down...and it's hard to carry Isaiah and Jens when they want to be held...so that sucks. The next couple of weeks leading up to his arrival will just look like...me getting ready for him. Knitting away, sewing a couple of things, washing all of his clothes, diapers, organizing the nursery & all the stuff I'll need for him, preparing frozen meals, walking. That is about it for this weeks update. Here are my questions for the week! How far along? 36 Weeks 6 Days! How big is baby? Baby is as Big as a Honeydew. 17.2-18.7 Inches & 4.2-5.8lbs! He's getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on his own, His skin is getting smooth and soft and his gums are rigid, His liver and kidneys are in working order, & Circulation and immune systems are basically good to go! Total weight gain and bump measurements: 178lbs my bump measures 45 inches around :) Maternity clothes? Shirt is from H&M & Jeans are from Thyme Maternity! Stretch marks? No. No signs of new ones. Sleep: Sleep is good but sleeping on my right side sucks. Best moment this week: Our Family had a Celebration for some Birthdays this past Saturday! Miss anything? Booze...lol. Crabby's Ginger Beer. Movement: Yes but he doesn't seem to be moving as much (still a lot) Food cravings: Chocolate!!!! Anything making you queasy or sick: His movement sometimes. Gender: A Boy! Labor signs: No. Symptoms: Fatigue, sore body (especially when sleeping), movement Belly button in or out? In but it soooo wants to be out. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or moody most of the time: emotional...I cry over everything. Looking forward to: Sharing his name <3 Thanks for stopping by. Go check out my video on this 36 Week update. I also do a haul on some of the baby items we have been collecting over the past couple of months. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia

Hello all, So we went to the City last week and got our Ultrasound done...UPDATE........ Everything is going great...the tech said baby is healthy and growing and everything looks right on track! She said our Due Date is April 13th, 2015 so that makes us about a Week less than what I thought originally...not too bad for my estimations... So I am 10 Weeks Pregnant today...therefore I will do my Weekly updates every Sunday (when I will be 10 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant) Then I can really talk about what happened during my 10th Week...and so on. Anyways here is a video I just did on my haul...please bare with me as I am still learning this filming thing...I will get faster at doing the videos and learn more with editing to really trim them down...everything is such a learning curve. I hope you like it though :) Thanks for stopping by! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, Wednesday I woke up off and on throughout the night needing to use the bathroom. I was feeling crampy (very crampy), uncomfortable, nauseous, and yeah just kind of off. I woke up about 3 times in the night and it took a while to get back to sleep. I finally woke up for the last time at 4:30 (tossed and turned) and then decided to get up and shower at 5:00 this morning. So it was quite the day. All I could think about was all that needed to be done that day (in order for this little guy to arrive) I got my last order of newborn cloth diapers in the mail...so I immediately went and put those in the wash (cause they need to be prepped...meaning washed/dried about 4 times) So I have spent pretty well the whole afternoon getting things done around here. I made a list of things to do (I think in the last blog post) and I am knocking those off today...because I have a STRONG feeling he is going to make an appearance in the next few days. My Father-in-Law came over today and steam cleaned our carpet going up the stairs as well as an area rug and touched a few spots on our couches. Seriously he is awesome. We have a few more things to do on the list...and Hubby should be home any minute now. I also picked up our new BEAUTIFUL diaper bag. So I got it all packed up as our hospital bag (just need to pack mine and Jayden's now (with a few things and our clothes) I cannot believe that I can have him any day from here on out. I feel nervous (very nervous this time around...even though I have been through it once before) I must say that I will be so much more prepared this time. Lol. I felt cramps off and on throughout the day as well and the odd braxton hicks. So not sure if it will pick up again or what. I haven't felt contractions yet...but I am gonna go for a walk tonight (if we get everything done) and see if that will do anything (Yes I do want him to come early...but I do understand that if he isn't ready than he won't come in the next few days) I will be happy with whatever happens. I could definitely be pregnant for another 2 Weeks and be perfectly happy...just an FIY! Friday we have our prenatal appointment (and I will be 38 Weeks Pregnant then...if I don't have him by then) so I will be getting the Membranes swept on Friday! So exciting...we'll see what happens! I am gonna get hubby to clean out his basement today after he get's home (I'll probably help him to...but that's his area of the house...and I want it to be cleaned and ready for baby's arrival) We will most likely be spending our time down there this summer and while Isaiah is down for the night! Baby Buys: My Mother-in-Law came home with these the other day for the new babe. I am guessing she got them at Winners :) They were all less than $10/per outfit My new diaper bag! I am seriously in love with it. It was our baby gift from my Mother and I could not be more excited about anything. It is absolutely the perfect size and I LOVE all the features it has to offer. So in love with the print as well :) Happy Mama over here. Best part is it will hold all of a newborns stuff and a toddlers stuff to (and probably Mama's stuff to) Keeping in mind I will have 2 cloth diapered children. This bag was about $180 New. So definitely Thankful for my Mom and her deciding to gift this to us! I picked these up today as well. Another Diaper pail bag and some of our favorite bum cream (all natural) The bag was $15 and the Big tub of cream was $22 and the small ones were $7. We have only used this with Isaiah (bought 2 tubs when he was about 1 month old...and we have only ever bought 1 more) so these last a really really long time (don't be discouraged by the price) especially for a chemical free product. Now we don't plan on using disposable diapers...like at all, but if we do need to use a few of them these are my favorite ones to use. I love pampers swaddlers. So I grabbed a bag (besides we can save them if we don't use them all...we know a lot of people having babies in the next few months who would probably be happy to take them off our hands) And of course Ovol was a staple for us to have on hand when Isaiah was a tiny baby...because he always had an upset tummy and it worked wonders for him (again probably has chemicals in it...but when it helps sooth your babies tummy it get's to that point where they do need a bit of help in the drug department....lol) I bought some more cloth diapers :) Eeeeeee!!! Well actually this was also a gift from my Mother. More for Isaiah at this point though (because we have to fix some of his grovia diaper covers.) I heard amazing things about the Flip diapers so thought I would go that route and wanted to aslo try Charlie Banana for quite some time now :) Then I just got a basic rumparooz diaper cover (fits all sizes) Although the baby will be able to use them as well. Which is why I added them in this post. Last but definitely not least is our newborn cloth diapers. We ordered from this amazing girl Annie. From Dick&Jane Cloth Diapers. Dick&Jane Cloth Diapers Facebook Page Dick&Jane Cloth Diapers Etsy Shop How is Mama Feeling? Well I already told you how I am feeling up at the top of the post :) That pretty much sums it up. Also a lot of heartburn lately....and I have dropped tonnes. How Big is Baby for Week 37? Baby is the size of a Winter Melon. He is about 18.9-20.9 Inches Long (although I highly doubt this because at 39 Weeks Isaiah was born at 17.5 haha) and weighs about 6.2-9.2lbs. How far along? 37 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: No more tracking... Maternity clothes? My H&M Striped Tee and regular yoga pants :) Stretch marks? Can't see them, but I am pretty sure I have some. Sleep: Yes. Best moment this week: getting the itty bitty cloth diapers and my new diaper bag in the mail. Miss anything? Not really. Movement: Yes. Tonnes Food cravings: Poutine Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Just Pregnant. Belly button in or out? In (wants to be out) Wedding rings on or off? On. Off at night. Happy or moody most of the time: Moody. Looking forward to: Being comfortable again. Thanks so much for stopping by. I cannot believe I could have this little man anytime now. Full term Baby!!!
...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, 4 MORE WEEKS!!! 4 MORE WEEKS!!!!! What is going on...time is seriously flying by (but not at the same time) I have reached the point where I want to meet this little man so bad. I am super uncomfortable and it is getting so hard to do things. Especially trying to carry and take care of a Toddler. As you can tell in the picture above the baby is making his way down. He has dropped a bit, I can definitely tell, and I have had a few people also ask if he dropped. So crazy. We Celebrated Father's Day this past Weekend (on Sunday we had a big BBQ with the Family) it was a special time. We had a blast at my Dad's house, he has a beautiful acreage about 2 minutes from our place. So we had a Fire and a grill and made delicious food. It was perfect. Father's Day for us is a little post-poned until I can feel better to make Jayden's gift..I have a few things planned. I will do a separate mini post...once I get his gift sorted out! We had a Prenatal appointment on Thursday and it went really good. It was short and sweet. Because there was really nothing to go over. She did the regular swab for Group B strep (I think it was called) and then we just talked about how far along I am...and that if I want we can start doing the Membrane Sweeps by next appointment (I will be 38 Weeks next one...next Friday) I talked with Hubby....and because he is leaving on the 8th of July we are going to go ahead and do the sweep. Even though there are a lot of people who don't agree with it...it makes me feel ok that it does not effect the baby at all...and that it will only work if Labor is not that far from then. So yeah. We are so excited that things could maybe get rolling by the Weekend or early next week (fingers crossed) I talked to my Mom the other day..and she told me that she is now going to be coming to stay with us earlier than she was planning. This is so awesome..cause I really, really would like it if she came as soon as possible. I really think this baby is gonna come early...and I could sure use the help around my house with cleaning/prepping and getting ready for baby...as well as someone to keep Isaiah happy and content while I pull out the ol' toothbrush for the toilet...haha. Mama Buys:
Baby Buys: Just one baby buy this week. I ordered it about 1.5 Weeks ago and it arrived this week ;) Seriously how cute is this? We have exciting things gonna happen for his first little photoshoot, and this was an absolute MUST to add to it. We now have a metis sash, this little headband and some mukluks...and I made a little pair of pants a while back that he will wear over his diaper (or some naked shots too) He is going to look so handsome all dressed up and being proud of his heritage. I am sad that I didn't think to do this for Isaiah's first photoshoot...but I guess it's nice that they will all have unique shoots each as individuals :) I ordered this through Etsy. Here is her page...go and check it out if you wanted to know about that. http://www.etsy.com/shop/ImaginationCouture?ref=l2-shopheader-name
I think it was about $23 after the crazy amount of shipping and what not. The headband itself was only like $11 or $12..haha. But oh well I didn't want to make one my self (because I have a million other things to do) and it is nice to support other's once and a while I guess :) How is Mama Feeling? I am feeling like I could have this Baby any time...not gonna lie I have been pretty paranoid all week thinking he will arrive early. He has dropped a lot, and I can feel so much pressure down low throughout the day...sometimes it is actually pretty painful. The Braxton Hicks are just getting stronger and annoying...and sometimes they are actually pretty close together (but only last like 20 seconds). So yea that's not cool...but I guess it could be worse. Other than feeling pressure and Braxton hicks I think I feel pretty great. But it definitely has made the "Nesting" kick in full force. I have been keeping so busy these past few days with scrubbing my kitchen and re-organized the cupboards and pantries (we have 3 of them...because we are that hardcore...really they are just 3 Shelves) But I am really loving the changes around my house and I think they are great changes and should probably stay the way they are now. My Hubby get's so frustrated...because I love change...I love a fresh new look every few months...I only move things around until I find the best possible place for that piece of furniture (or whatever I am moving) We were able to get meatballs and veggie burgers done for our freezer. So that makes me happy that there are 2 other options (as well as some of the other things I made over the past few weeks. There are a few more things I want to make...like Pizza's, Cabbage Rolls, Perogies, more Smoothies, more Waffles and probably a few other things...although I won't beat myself up if I don't get through my list of things to do. My biggest priority these days are to get all the dust bunnies out of my house and move some of the things that haven't been moved since we moved in here. Like our Washer/Dryer (which I don't know when the last time was even cleaned behind) But yeah full force Nesting going on at my house. How Big is Baby for Week 36? The size of a Honeydew. He is about 17.2-18.7 Inches in length and about 4.2-5.8 lbs. Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy. How far along? 36 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: No more tracking... Maternity clothes? I still fit all of my shirts, but only like 1 pair of pants. Sorry no pics this week. Stretch marks? Can't see them, but I am pretty sure I have some. Sleep: Yes. Best moment this week: Father's Day! Miss anything? Not really. Movement: Yup, He moves a lot...even though there probably isn't much room anymore. Food cravings: Nope. Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Just Pregnant. Belly button in or out? In (wants to be out) Wedding rings on or off? On. Off at night. Happy or moody most of the time: Moody. Looking forward to: Having another Baby <3 So sorry but I don't have any pictures for this week :( time is flying and he will be here soon. Next week though :) Thanks for stopping by ...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, We are 35 Weeks. Time is flying. I am feeling a little bit of stress now, to get stuff done. I have quite the list of things to accomplish and get ready before he makes his arrival. But I am happy that I have my handy iPad Mini with me, because I love using Evernote to make my lists and check things off as I go. There really isn't anything else to report in on. Baby Buys: I made an order from Chapters (because I wanted to get some soother's for the little man) We used these same soother's for Isaiah when he was a tiny baby. I bought the two different kinds. One is more flat shaped and one is round (Cause can't tell which one he will like better...if even any at all) I really want to use a soother this time around though...because that was hard on me being a first time Mom who nursed non stop. I think the Soother's I buy are about $9-$10 each (I know kinda pricey....but they are the best and are pretty natural) Also when I was looking through the baby stuff online...I came across a sale they were having on these Beautiful 3-Piece Organic Cotton sets. We have been looking for a "Coming Home Outfit" for the little guy. I also wanted more of the little sleepers that have the bottom open (for easy diaper changes in the night) So yeah he is gonna come home in a little "Nightie" haha. I couldn't believe that this 3-Piece Organic Cotten set was only $20 though. I think Isaiah's 2 piece coming home outfit was like $15 from Carters. This one is way better quality. That is all the baby buys for the week. I am pretty pleased with them, because they are all items we have been on the hunt for and very needed items for a new baby. How does Mama Feel? Well I must say I am feeling pretty good considering I am 8 Months Pregnant. I don't know where I am finding energy to get things done around my house. Lots of meal preps and just getting things ready around here. Baby steps of course. But the other day I re-arranged our whole living room. LOL. It looks amazing and I am happy to know that it is dust bunny free (for now...I am sure I will do it again a few days before I have him) I am getting a lot of Braxton Hicks, but nothing new there. Some of them are pretty intense. I am hoping to add some daily walks into my routine (so I can get ready to deliver this little man) Heartburn comes and goes (although I haven't had to take Zantac for a few Weeks now) That's pretty much it. How Big is Baby for Week 35? He is the size of a Coconut. He's about 17.2-18.7 Inches and about 4.2-5.8lbs. So crazy. Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy. How far along? 35 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: No more tracking... Maternity clothes? Basic Tee from H&M and my Thyme Maternity grey pants. Everything is getting really snug now though. Stretch marks? I think they are starting...my belly is pretty itchy. Sleep: Yeah but it's getting more uncomfortable. Best moment this week: Having a Date with my Husband. Miss anything? That glass of Red Wine :) Movement: It is crazy how much this little dude moves... Food cravings: Not really. Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, Fetal Movement Belly button in or out? In (wants to be out) Wedding rings on or off? On. Off at night. Happy or moody most of the time: Getting Moody. Looking forward to: Using our itty bitty cloth diapers for the first few weeks :) That's pretty much it for this Week. Crazy only 5 More to go!!!!
...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, K...WHAT???? How the heck is this possible. 6 More Weeks to go???? What????.....WHAT????? What is new?..................?..........? Well I am in full force Nesting Mode...I started the whole Freezer Foods task. I am putting a huge dent it...I must say it is very strange making yummy dishes and not being able to eat them. At least most of the dishes I prepared are all raw...everything cut up and tossed into bags...but there was 1 recipe I used that was soup and you needed to cook it first then freeze it...drove me crazy not to eat any of it. LOL. I will be so thanking myself later though...time put into it now will pay off later. Jayden asked me if I was stressing out over having to make meals and freeze them...I was like No not at all if anything I like doing this...seriously I am enjoying every minute of this planning...especially knowing that I am creating super awesome dishes that are so healthy for me...I won't be stressing later about not knowing what to make for dinner...I can just pull something out and put it in the oven or the crockpot and forget about it :) YAY me... We did our Photoshoot. It was so fun and our Photographer was amazing and super skilled at what she does. It literally took her no longer than 1 Hour to take pictures of us in her Studio...as well as at a park (10 Minutes away from her studio) How awesome. She sent us a few sneak peaks on facebook...so if you are friends with me go and check them out. So adorable. I will do a separate post of just the pictures when we get them! So excited to work with her again when we have this little man. We were in the City this past Weekend. We stayed the night with my Sister-in-Law and her Hubby and it was nice to just relax and spend some time with them for a bit. We also got a bit of shopping in for a few last minute things. There are still some things we need to get before he arrives, but most of it I can order online and not have to take another trip into the City for. This past Weekend proved to me that I don't want to travel anymore if I don't have to. The 3 Hour trip into the City nearly killed me, I was so uncomfortable, and all that walking made my feet super swollen. Yikes. I think we'll stay home now until he arrives. Baby Buys: Some little newborn (Size 0-1 Month) jeans from H&M I scored these for $5 on clearance :) I Love that they have the super stretchy part on the waste (will be perfect for the cloth diapers) I also scored another deal on some newborn diapers. I got these 7 used Lil Joey's and Knockoff Lil' Joeys for $30. What a steal of a deal. Then I picked up this little 2 piece summer set up from Winners I think it was about $6.99 for the set. We also picked up some Cradle Sheets/play-yard sheets and crib sheets. (just plain old white ones nothing to take a pic of...haha) Mama Buys: I really wanted a belly bandit for my first pregnancy but they are pretty darn expensive new. I am a member of this pretty awesome group on Facebook for Mom's and one of the girls posted that she was using one with her newest baby. I told her that I really wanted one and then she offered to sell it to me when she was finished with it. Needless to say I told her YES I would buy it off her for $20...anyways the sweet Mama gave it to me for free. Seriously I am so excited to use it. I am a little skeptical though about the Size Small part. I was a medium before I got pregnant...but we'll see, if I can't wear it right away that's fine, I'll wear it later...or with my next pregnancy! How does Mama Feel? I...Feel....very very Pregnant. I am actually feeling pretty miserable these days. This is definitely not a fun time for me. I am tired, I have no energy (but I make energy to get cleaning/cooking done), my feet are like sausages (literally I don't fit any shoes), my Maternity clothes are tight, I have heartburn...I could seriously go on and on. The plus side is I am still loving pregnancy even though it doesn't love me all the time. LOL. Yup that's pretty much it...counting down for it to be done, and hope that the next pregnancy will be more like pregnancy #1 was :) How Big is Baby for Week 34? Baby is the size of a Butternut Squash. About 4.2-5.8 lbs and 17.2-18.7 inches long. Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy! How far along? 34 Weeks 5 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: No more tracking... Maternity clothes? Yes mostly tops...I don't wear my pants often now...because they are getting a bit snug. I moved onto Leggings...lol. In the pictures I am wearing a maternity/nursing top from motherhood maternity, my motherhood maternity grey pants and a regular grey cardi from target. Stretch marks? If there is I don't notice them. Sleep: Yes. I have my nights where I am up a few times in the night...annoying...but good I guess. Best moment this week: Getting our Photoshoot done :) Miss anything? That glass of Red Wine :) Movement: It is crazy how much this little dude moves... Food cravings: <<<<<<POUTINE>>>>>>> Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, Fetal Movement Belly button in or out? In (wants to be out) Wedding rings on or off? On. Off at night. Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty happy...but moody too.. Looking forward to: Seeing our Photos and getting some printed. Size HUGE! Lol. How is there even room in there for him. I am maxed out people :(
Thanks for stopping by :) Hope you liked it! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, We are 31 Weeks! Holy Moly! I can't believe there is only like 2 Months of this pregnancy left. Definitely creeping up to the final stretch. I am getting so nervous...but super excited at the same time. We will get to meet our little man very shortly. I am definitely starting to feel stressed out a bit, just because there is so much to do to get ready for his arrival. I need to make a game plan and start checking things off my list. I want to save the whole last few weeks of June for cleaning my house top to bottom (since it needs to be so clean for his arrival...hehe) So for the rest of this Month and beginning of next I want to get things organized for him (the rest of his cloths, diapers...buy whatever I need to buy for him) as well as decorate our Master Bedroom...make it welcoming for a little boy to arrive. There are still some things I want to sew...and crochet for him as well...so that will be my focus this Month and the first 2 Weeks in June! Our Maternity Shoot got moved to a closer date (due to a few things) But I am so excited about this because I am seriously feeling pretty massive these days...and June 16th was so far away that I thought, by the time we get there I am going to be way too big. So it is going to now be June 1st! Just over 2.5 Weeks away. That is awesome. I am absolutely in love with the Photographer's work...so that makes this even more exciting. Baby Buys: We bought this used off of one of my dear friends Lauren :) She is the reason we even wanted a Beco carrier. She has about a million carriers...so I came to her for advice and this was the one she recommended. She was buying a new one with a different patter on it (same carrier) so offered this one to us as first dibs. It is is mint condition and I am in love with it. Can't wait to use it...I think I will absolutely love it. It feels so comfortable even now! Really you can't beat a $90 deal when they are about $150 new! Thanks Lauren!!! I picked this 2 piece up from Walmart. I think it was like $7, we definitely need to consider that we will probably have to buy a few more little outfits. Isaiah was born in the middle of Winter (therefore all of his itty bitty clothes are winter clothes) I didn't even think that we don't have any shorts for a new baby. There are a few more things on our list of things to buy for the baby...so I am sure you'll see more to come! How does Mama Feel? Definitely better than the previous Weeks I had...I have a bit more energy now. Still very uncomfortable...but I am getting used to that. He isn't moving around as much (still a lot...still more than Isaiah did) but not as much...I think that is due to being pretty squished in there! Haha! I feel encouraged to lose weight very fast and get back on track with my Health and Fitness after baby comes...Yes I will give myself a few Weeks to get settled and get into a grove of surviving parenthood with 2 children under 2! LOL! But this pregnancy has been a real motivation to get back on track and lose this baby weight (and pre-baby weight...that I haven't lost before I got pregnant) I will not be going into another pregnancy until I reach my goal (or at least close to my goal) which will be about 30 lbs pre-baby weigh this time around. Eeek! Seems like a lot...but I can do it... I will be so much happier and I think more comfortable with the next pregnancies because of it...(lol "pregnancies") How Big is Baby for Week 29? Baby is the size of a pineapple (this is funny because my BIG craving right now is Ham and Pineapple Pizza...best thing in the world) Worse thing in the world before this pregnancy...I could not stand it. Baby is about 15.2-16.7 inches long, and weighs about 2.5-3.8 pounds. Here are my Q's for the Week! Enjoy! How far along? 31 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: 177lbs. 44.5 inches Maternity clothes? My H&M Striped Tee and just regular yoga pants. Things are definitely getting tighter... Stretch marks? Not that I can tell... Sleep: Yes. Best moment this week: Celebrating Mother's Day :) Miss anything? A glass of wine. Movement: Yes. Food cravings: Ham and Pineapple Pizza Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Heartburn, Crampy, Pressure Belly button in or out? In. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or moody most of the time: Happy Looking forward to: Getting my body back! Well that's about all for the Week. I definitely feel big and pregnant :) Thanks for stopping by!
...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, Holy Moly...is all I have to say. This pregnancy is cruising by. I cannot believe there is potential only 7-10 ish Weeks left. Yikes! I for real need to get my butt in gear. Well there has been tonnes of stuff going on around here lately. My Sister-In-Law and my little niece came down to visit for a Week. They stayed with our In-Laws. I had a blast with them. There truly isn't anything better than seeing my little man play with his cousin. He seriously loves his little cousin. So cute! So we kept pretty busy all week with outings and what not. My Hubby was gone on a "Rock Tour" he has a Rock class that he took on tour around some schools in Alberta! So we missed him, but it was nice to have company here as well to keep our mind off him being gone. Also it all of a sudden went from using shovels to using rakes...within a Week. Seriously the weather is gorgeous here, and we have been spending a lot of this past Weekend and first few days of the new Week outside. We went and picked up my Birthday Patio Set a few days ago and Hubby set that up for us on Sunday. Then on Monday I went into Edmonton with one of my other Mama friends to get some shopping done. We went in for a Costco grocery trip, but there was other places that were a must stop at as well. So we shopped for our babies and for us too. It was such a long day, but so fun! Not sure if you guys like seeing my Mama/Baby buys. But I like posting them, so yeah hopefully you enjoy them as much as I do. If not...sorry about that. We have a birthday party to go to on Thursday, so we are excited for that. Isaiah's little friend Emilie is turning 2 Years Old! How time flies...a few short months and he will also be turning 2. So crazy to think about. Anyways here are my Mama/Baby Buys for this Week, since there really isn't anything else to update on! Mama Buys: We went to H&M and I picked up this Maternity shirt for about $12. The quality is actually really great and I feel like it looks really great, my nice round belly! LOL Old Navy has always been another go to place for me. I like their maternity clothes...although if was to compare I would say H&M has better quality in their clothing. But I couldn't resist this $4 top I found on the clearance rack. Very light weight and will be perfect for summer. Stripes just look good with a big belly full of baby (in my opinion) Then we went to Thyme Maternity and I picked out some nursing musts. The left is just a basic nursing top tee, you have the extra piece of fabric that you can just lift up for easy nursing. Then I found just a light tank top for the summer (which you just pull down from the top when you need to nurse) The last time I was there I picked up that navy blue scarf (from last weeks post) so when I went this time around they had them on sale for $12. SO I grabbed the other color they had. I am going to really enjoy using these to cover up this summer :) Baby Buys: So the last time I was at Thyme maternity they gave me a coupon that was basically if you spend $100 you get $50 off your order (during a certain time period) Which kind of started the idea of going into Edmonton to go shopping...I knew I needed nursing gear and I didn't want to waste that amazing deal. So when I was in there the other day I ran into these swaddling blankets...which I have been drooling over since before I was even pregnant with Isaiah a few Years ago. These are marketed at $49 a box for huge massive, bamboo organic swaddling blankets. So I pretty much got these babies for free. I know I am going to LOVE having these with my new little man, and more babies to come. Best part is, the patterns are the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life and I would totally wear them as scarves later (something to use after I am done having my babies) Also because my bill was over $100 I got this free little onesie with my purchase. So I picked out the 2 nursing tops, the nursing scarf, the swaddling blankets and got this cute little onesie for $65. What a deal I just scored! I could not even resist these. LOL. Since our baby will be born in the middle of a hot summer, I thought these would be perfect! I LOVE H&M. They were about $15/each which is pretty normal for little outfit sets. I was definitely keeping my eye out for matching outfits for the boys, but couldn't find much, I needed 0-3 and 18-24 months ish (Isaiah is 18 Months...but he still fits 12 Month clothing) So 18 Months will probably still be a bit baggy when his little brother arrives. I found these cute little button dress shirts at Old Navy for $5.99 each on clearance. Of course I had to buy Isaiah this shirt when I saw it...Best Bro Ever (from Old Navy) That's pretty much it for what I bought for myself and my Little Men (I bought Isaiah some well needed sleepers, pjs and summer clothes...but I am just focusing on what I am buying for a new baby. LOL. Plus that would take forever to include what I buy him on a regular basis. LOL! How does Mama Feel? I am feeling actually pretty darn good. Definitely times of discomfort and heartburn. But I really can't complain. I feel like I am getting more energy and I am ready to start hanging out outside and going for walks. I am so happy Summer has arrived! How Big is Baby for Week 29? Baby is the size of a Cucumber. Measures about 15.2-16.7 Inches and weighs about 2.5-3.8 lbs. Getting bigger. Not much longer! Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy! How far along? 30 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: 2lb weight gain (YIKES) 177lbs. 44.5 inches belly (no change this week) Maternity clothes? Wearing my new H&M Tee Shirt (Striped) and my new Thyme Maternity grey pants! Stretch marks? I am not sure...I don't think so, but you never know! Sleep: Yes. Best moment this week: Buying my first iPad! Miss anything? A glass of wine. Movement: Constantly Food cravings: Not really. Those Chicken wings I had the other day were out of this world though. Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Fatigue, Discomfort, Heartburn Belly button in or out? In but wants to pop...but can't...it looks silly. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or moody most of the time: Happy most of the time! Looking forward to: Getting my body back! Size Huge...but I still love it ;)
...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, Well 1 more Week down. 11 More to go! This is crazy to me. Soon enough our little man will be in our arms. This is something I cannot even begin to imagine possible. Lol. I can't believe how fast time is going. I feel like I am pretty much done with this pregnancy. Lol. I am getting tired, my feet hurt, I feel HUGE, I feel as big as a house...as big as I was with the 38 mark of my Pregnancy with Isaiah. And I still have 11 Weeks left. We'll see if the growing will slow down. I am thankful however to still fit my clothing...I must give myself that, my 2 Mat pairs of pants I have still fit just fine, and I have lots of shirts I can still wear. Although I am starting to feel lots of growing every week going on in my Belly (obviously) and I am starting to feel it in my Thighs and butt ;( Boo. Something I didn't want to happen. But that is the many joys of being pregnant apparently. At least I still fit my clothes. Enough feeling sorry for myself. I have had it...haha...I should be so Thankful to get to experience Pregnancy (and believe me...I truly am) I Love it all, you gotta take the many changes with your body in pregnancy with all the amazing outcomes of it! Soon enough I will be holding our little boy in my arms for the very first time! Staring down that the beautiful little face as he wonders where the heck he is. Kissing him for the first time, Cuddling him for the first time, Changing him for the first time, Breastfeeding him for the first time, Bathing him for the first time, Introducing Isaiah to him for the first time. Eeeek I am so excited for what is about to happen on this journey of having another Baby...another Boy <3 Pure Love is all I feel at this very moment. This Baby has already got a complete different sense of character than Isaiah did. I cannot believe how different they are in Utero than one another. Isaiah was so calm, so chill, hardly really moved around (unless music was blaring), had the hiccups often, but just so chill is the only way I can describe him. This little man however...YIKES. He has is wake up time anywhere between 2-4 am (doing the craziest dance routine I can imagine), he is constantly moving, has the hiccups all the time, when music plays...he is seriously rocking out (like his brother did...but I would say even more so), Constantly twirling (changing positions) Scraping his hands, feet against the my belly...Yup he is on the move all day long. We had our Ultrasound on Monday! The Tech said that Baby is doing great and is nice and healthy. She said he (although she wasn't able to verify this time...cause he had his legs crossed) has a perfect little face. It was awesome how she was able to describe to us how he was lying when we went in though. But I am 95% he is always rotating his positions because where she said his head was...his hiccups were the complete opposite of that the next day. So I am pretty sure he just moves all the time, and doesn't like to stay in one position. But yay for having a good ultrasound. I will get the results back in full detail from the doctor at the end of May (I had one more month of an appointment every month...and then I get to go to an appointment every 2 weeks...which is when it gets crazy) Baby Buys for the Week: So I went to a store in Edson the other day and picked these little outfits up for the little man. It was kind of a Thrift Store deal...but they also sold some new stuff too. I think the total was like $10 or something like that. Lol. Score! Little sleeper was $1.99, 2 Piece $4.99, Rock one-sie $1.99, and little long sleeved shirt $2.49...that's a steal of a deal! haha! I remember my Mom only using these on my brother and sister when they were babies...I have looked for these at several different stores and could never find any, so I always just used the regular q-tips. But I always had a fear of putting them too far in Isaiah's ears after a bath (I know, I know "Your NOT suppose to put them in ears" but I for one hate it when my ears have water in them after a shower...and I have always done it this way) So now I won't be paranoid when cleaning out babies ears (or Isaiah's)! I got these on sale for $0.99 each! ;) Ok so I am finally adding in my Mama Buys from a few weeks ago. I have to do it now, because I am going into Edmonton again on the 6th to do more shopping for myself and I will have to do a Mama/Baby buys section on that one as well. I plan on getting all of my nursing tops/bra's/pads...etc, as well as a few last minute things for the baby, a few outfits, creams, lotions etc. Maternity Shirts: Black from H&M basic top, Navy Blue from H&M basic top (don't remember price, but I think $10 each sounds about right) Navy Prints Cream shirt from Thyme Maternity ($15 ish) Maternity Pants & Tanks: Grey Pants from Thyme Maternity ($30 ish) Shorts I got used for $10. The Tanks tops are actually from Target (I got a while back) They were I think $15 each. This "Nursing" Scarf is from Thyme Maternity it was about $15. I will definitely be making more of these. They seriously look like a huge square (but they are also circular) How does Mama feel? I feel pretty darn tired. This pregnancy is doing a number on my body. Lol. I enjoy pregnancy and am loving every moment of it. But I must say that it is definitely hard at times. The Heartburn is not helping. This heartburn is weird though...I have never felt anything like it! With Isaiah it was mostly a sharp pain in my lungs and was hard to breath...but I didn't get it very often with him...when I did...it was BAD...but it only happened a handful of times with him. This pregnancy however, yes it does feel similar at times with the sharp pain in the lungs...but it's mostly in my throat with this one. I feel like I have to burp, and it is very uncomfortable :( My back hurts...actually it hurts a lot of the time. I feel massive. I want to be done so I can get my body back. I know I know stop complaining....but seriously this has been really hard on me. It doesn't help that I started with 5 Extra pounds going into this pregnancy than I did with the last one. So that is pure motivation right there to get on track a few weeks after I deliver this cutie. Other than those two major symptoms I am doing great and feel pretty great to. I love everything else to do with pregnancy, especially the thought of growing another little person. How Big is Baby for Week 29? Baby is the size of an Acorn Squash! Weighs about 2.5-3.8 lbs, and measures about 15.2-16.7. Awesome. Here are my Q's for the Week! Enjoy! How far along? 29 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: 6.2 Weight Gain (I forgot to weigh in last week so the previous week was 168.8) I am now 175 lbs. 1.5 inch increase since 2 Weeks ago. Belly is measuring at 44.5 inches. Maternity clothes? My flowy white top is from Thyme Maternity (I bought it for my first pregnancy photoshoot) and my maternity grey pants are from Thyme Maternity ;) Stretch marks? Not sure. I think so Sleep: It's getting more and more uncomfortable...but I can't complain! Best moment this week: Seeing Baby via Ultrasound Miss anything? No Movement: All the time! Food cravings: Deep fried Pickles! oooh and corndogs Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Fatigue, Discomfort, Heartburn Belly button in or out? In but wants to pop...but can't Wedding rings on or off? on (but I am starting to notice if I leave them on when sleeping, my finger is very swollen in the morning...so I have been taking it off. Happy or moody most of the time: Happy most of the time! Looking forward to: Sewing some projects for Baby! As for pictures I didn't get around to doing any normal ones (the ones Jayden always takes of me every week) But I did take a few with my iPhone for instagram. LOL. So this is all I have for this week. Thanks so much for stopping by. Yay Summer!!!
...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, Well it has been a very busy Spring Break for us. We enjoyed pretty much every moment of it. There were a few nights/mornings that just were not working for Isaiah...but all in all it was fantastic to get away from winter here. It was nice to have a real spring break. We got back on Saturday. I will definitely do a separate post for our Vancouver Trip once I get that organized. Baby Buys for this Week. I will add the Mama buys in for next week, because I havent taken pictures of what I purchased yet. How is Mama feeling? Well I am not gonna lie...I am feeling quite HUGE. It doesn't help much jumping on the scale this morning and seeing how much I had gained over the break. But I am also feeling pretty motivated to get back into healthy eating and fitness as well. It was a nice break but it is sad to say that it is over...time for a kick in the butt now. How Big is Baby for Week 25? Little man is the size of a cauliflower. Measuring about 13.6-14.8 inches and weighs about 1.5-2.5 pounds (this is happening so fast just a few short weeks ago it wasn't even at 1lb) Baby is growing some hair now :) haha. Maybe he will come out with a full head like Isaiah did! How far along? 25 Weeks 4 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: 6.2 Weight Gain Weight: 169 lbs. (this is insane, I am sure the very bad eating on our trip made this jump quite a bit...also I forgot to weigh in last week) .5 increase 42 Inch Bump Maternity clothes? I am wearing a nursing top from Thyme Maternity, non-maternity yoga pants (old navy) and a non maternity cardigan (target) Stretch marks? No Sleep: Yup Best moment this week: Shopping for some well needed stuff (including comfy bra's) Miss anything? being comfortable Movement: tonnes of movement Food cravings: nah not that I can think of. I finally had my creamsicle though. Anything making you queasy or sick: Scrambled Eggs yesterday :( Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Uncomfortable, tired, hungry, just Pregnant! Belly button in or out? in Wedding rings on or off? on Happy or moody most of the time: Happy Looking forward to: Trying some of these cute clothes on him that we just bought!
