Hello there,
I am 8 Weeks today (going by my estimation) But we have our appointment scheduled for September 11th to get an ultrasound done to find out the actual date. Since I am just guessing. There really isn't much new with us. I had my prenatal appointment today and just got asked tonnes of questions...I got my prescription for Diclectin (nausea Meds) because I somedays cannot even handle it. Yesterday was they worse for nausea...I was sick almost the whole day...thankfully no throwing up...but it is still not fun at all. Also Doctor says I need to get a whole bunch of lab work done...blood work...so yay. not. Today was also a weird day...I had a strange thing happen to me :( It's happened before when I was postpartum with Jens. Where my hand goes numb...and my tongue, and my vision goes weird like blurry. It lasted for about 20 minutes...thankfully happened when Jayden was just finishing up school, so he came home immediately. We called Health Link to get them to talk me through it...they think it is a blood pressure thing. That I should just take it easy. They didn't seem worried about it but said to mention it to my doctor at my next visit. So that was crazy...scary... My Mother and Siblings are coming later this week...so I am looking forward to their visit! Other than that...we'll see how the rest of the week goes Anyways here is the questions for the week since there really isn't anything else to update on. Enjoy. How far along? 8 Weeks Pregnant How big is baby? The size of a raspberry. 0.63 inches. 0.04 ounces. About baby? Now baby weighs in! Growing about a milimeter each day. Baby is moving those arms and legs (even though I can't feel it yet). Fingers and toes are only slightly webbed and baby's tale is gone. Baby's taste buds are now forming. Total weight gain and bump measurements: 2lbs up. Maternity clothes? I don't have a picture this week. But I have busted out my Maternity pants and a couple shirts...and am looking forward to going to Edmonton to shop for more staples. Stretch marks? None. Sleep: I usually wake up once to use the bathroom...but I do sleep amazing at the moment. Best moment this week: Going to Jarvis Lake with the family for the day! Miss anything? No. Movement: No. Food cravings: No. Anything making you queasy or sick: Pretty much anything I eat does. I get nauseous about 20 minutes after I eat. Gender: Don't know yet. Labor signs: Nope. Symptoms: Fatigue, Nausea, Frequent need to pee. Belly button in or out? In. Wedding rings on or off? On. Happy or moody most of the time: Happy. (Blog post from November 30th, 2012- 8 Weeks Pregnant)
Hello there, So we are 8 Weeks Pregnant. We are off to Edmonton for the weekend to do a bit of shopping, and tell some of Family members the news. We mailed off the Announcement at the beginning of the Week, but we are able to hand the announcement out to the Family who we can see this weekend. Yay! So exciting. Later this week I am taking Isaiah to Jasper to go on the Santa Train. I am also gonna start doing Prenatal Yoga with a pregnancy program I joined. So wish me luck that I can keep at it and make it a regular thing in my daily schedule or a few times a week anyways. I feel great though, but this fatigue has got the best of me. Lol. We are 8 Weeks Pregnant! I am pretty sure we are really getting into a nice routine and are getting used to fact that we are going to be parents. Although I still find myself sometimes thinking "Wow I am actually Pregnant" It is awesome. But who else feels like they think a lot about losing your baby? Because I do all the time. I was told it was normal you are always concerned if everything is ok with Baby! We really do hope that everything is going well. We won't know what is really going on until the 25th of April because that is when I have my Doctor's appointment with my Baby Doctor. My first one (we had one in Edmonton, but since we moved here, well I had to get a new one) I hear she is amazing though. SO hopefully when we have that appointment we will get to hear the little heartbeat and get more information on how our baby is doing! I got my nursing/pregnancy pillow from Babies R us in Edmonton and I got it on sale, it's normally like $59.99 or something and we got it for like $39.99 I think! SO that was a sweet deal. Baby is growing about a millimeter a day. It is the size of a large raspberry. The tail is just about gone :) The lips, nose, eyelids, legs, and back continue to take shape this week. Heart is beating at 150 per minute. Baby is starting to make movements, but it is far to small for me to feel right now! Cravings of the week: A & W Rootbeer, Taquitos (I love A&W rootbeer from A&W it is so good) WE had taquitos at 7-Eleven :) Symptoms: -Fatigue (Extremely Tired this week...baby must be growing like crazy) -Nausea (Off and on throughout the week...no puking, so that's great) -Sore Breasts (I have noticed they have been extremely sore lately at night the most! I have to be careful with how I crawl into bed sometimes!) -Flatulence (Lol yeah there was gas...just being honest here) -Mild Bloating (not as much as the first few weeks) -Increased sense of smell (WOW my smell is crazy good since I have been pregnant) -I have been getting occasional headaches lately too Anyways Thanks so much for reading/watching! It means a lot to us! WE hope you enjoy and again if you have any questions or comments please leave them, we love feedback especially stories about what happened to you or even just advice! ...following my dreams... -Jayden & Cynthia |
