Hello, Well Week 9 is here! Let me tell you this was the scariest week so far! Well one of the days. It was the first day that week 9 started to top it all off! Monday April 4th, 2011 I woke up and hopped in the shower, while in the shower I started getting really dizzy...so I turned the water off and held myself up on the shower walls to see if it would go away. No chance. So I tried to get out of the shower and go to the door because I knew Jayden was still sleeping. My idea was so open the door and yell for him to come and help me! But I put my hand on the door and attempted to turn the handle then all I felt was pain as I was falling. I instantly woke out of it and had a huge cut on my lip from biting it on the way down. I don't think I fell on my stomach in any way (so that is awesome) but still the whole experience is something to terrify a Mother with a growing baby inside her! I immediately went to our bedroom and woke Jayden up in tears and tried to tell him what I just experienced He was so frightened! I kind of felt bad for freaking him out like that...but I was so freaked out myself! This was a crazy thing that happened and I hope it doesn't happen again. I noticed later that I had bruises on my knees (so that was my clue that I probably didn't fall on my stomach) and I had a bruise on my chin too! Other than that everything else was ok! We finished our shower (because I still had a soapy body and conditioner in my hair) this time Jayden came with me because we were both so scared that it would happen again. Then we went down to the Doctor's office (but we ended up sitting there for just about 3 hours and still some people in front of us (I started to get nauseous because I was so hungry) So we made the appointment for the next day! When we went to the Doctor the next day, he took my blood pressure and he said it was really low (so that explains some things) he said it won't always be normal while pregnant (because there is baby in there now) He also tried to hear the heartbeat but we didn't hear anything. He just said that it was too early in the pregnancy to hear it! Anyways he said he thought everything was ok! He recommended that from now on I should take my time getting up out of bed, and maybe eat something right away (before I shower), the next time it happens (hoping there isn't a next time) to sit down or even lay down and it might go away or if it doesn't at least I am not taking a huge fall! Baby is getting bigger :) It is the size of a green olive. It's tiny muscles are starting to form, it's gearing up to start moving arms and legs! Can't feel anything yet though so I am getting really anxious to start feeling the baby! Symptoms: Fatigue (Yup like always) Oh this week my breasts have been the most soar! Yikes! Increase Sense of smell! That is about it for week 9 (the rest of the week I just took it easy and rested up) Thanks for reading/watching it means a lot to us! Have a good week everyone! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia

Hello, 2 Months Pregnant! Yikes time is flying! We are 8 Weeks Pregnant! I am pretty sure we are really getting into a nice routine and are getting used to fact that we are going to be parents. Although I still find myself sometimes thinking "Wow I am actually Pregnant" It is awesome. But who else feels like they think a lot about losing your baby? Because I do all the time. I was told it was normal you are always concerned if everything is ok with Baby! We really do hope that everything is going well. We won't know what is really going on until the 25th of April because that is when I have my Doctor's appointment with my Baby Doctor. My first one (we had one in Edmonton, but since we moved here, well I had to get a new one) I hear she is amazing though. SO hopefully when we have that appointment we will get to hear the little heartbeat and get more information on how our baby is doing! I got my nursing/pregnancy pillow from Babies R us in Edmonton and I got it on sale, it's normally like $59.99 or something and we got it for like $39.99 I think! SO that was a sweet deal. Baby is growing about a millimeter a day. It is the size of a large raspberry. The tail is just about gone :) The lips, nose, eyelids, legs, and back continue to take shape this week. Heart is beating at 150 per minute. Baby is starting to make movements, but it is far to small for me to feel right now! Cravings of the week: A & W Rootbeer, Taquitos (I love A&W rootbeer from A&W it is so good) WE had taquitos at 7-Eleven :) Symptoms: -Fatigue (Extremely Tired this week...baby must be growing like crazy) -Nausea (Off and on throughout the week...no puking, so that's great) -Sore Breasts (I have noticed they have been extremely sore lately at night the most! I have to be careful with how I crawl into bed sometimes!) -Flatulence (Lol yeah there was gas...just being honest here) -Mild Bloating (not as much as the first few weeks) -Increased sense of smell (WOW my smell is crazy good since I have been pregnant) -I have been getting occasional headaches lately too Anyways Thanks so much for reading/watching! It means a lot to us! WE hope you enjoy and again if you have any questions or comments please leave them, we love feedback especially stories about what happened to you or even just advice! ...following my dreams... -Jayden & Cynthia |
