Hello, Well, well, well we have reached the half way point. So insane. I still cannot believe it! Technically I may only have 17 more weeks to go!!! Now that's hard to believe! This pregnancy is FLYING by! We are getting so excited and anxious for what is to come for us. Amazing. This pregnancy is amazing...I think about it everyday...that I still cannot believe I am growing another human inside of me. Pregnancy is unbelievable isn't it? Such a miracle. Such a blessing. Pure Love! The Baby is starting to kick when "His" daddy puts his hands on my belly now (well he has for a few weeks now) but Jayden can definitely feel it very clear...and he claims that the kicks are getting way stronger. Isaiah would not kick for Jayden really at all...I would lay down for bed (while pregnant with Isaiah) and say honey...baby...kicking...and as soon as he would put his hand on my belly Isaiah would freeze in position...then he would take his hand off...and Isaiah would kick, kick, kick...and so on...I think he only got to feel him a handful of times during my pregnancy. But this Baby....my oh my he loves to move! I am completely in love with this feeling...and soaking in all of it! Cause you really never know when your last pregnancy will happen? I would have 10 kids if it was up to me...but it's not. God has a plan, and he knows exactly how many children he will bless us with! How have I been feeling? Honestly very very tired and uncomfortable...this pregnancy was identical to my first pregnancy for the first few months...but now it's just getting uncomfortable! But I think I am doing pretty good about it, there are some seriously long days...but I guess it can be worse. Thank the Lord that I wasn't one to get morning sickness and be ill for most of my pregnancy...I definitely lucked out on that one. My Boobs hurt soo bad (sorry tmi) but I am documenting my journey so everything comes with that. They hurt way more than I remember with my first pregnancy! Sometimes this baby totally stretches out in there and I think that is why I am so uncomfortable all the time. It is mostly in my belly...like it feels like he is stretched out completely and stretching my insides... I am starting to plan out some ideas for our Master Bedroom! I want to decorate it and completely get ready for this little dude. We do have some boys names picked out as well, that we are really excited about. So once we have this baby and decide on his name I will put his name about the cradle somehow in our bedroom. This makes me so excited! How Big is Baby for Week 20? Baby Madsen is the size of a Banana (weighs about 10.2 ounces and measures about 6.5 inches) Growing nice and healthy. Anyways here are my Questions for the Week How far along? 20 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: Weight:159 lbs.40.5 Inch Bump (no change this week) Maternity clothes? None this week. Yoga Pants, and an Old Navy long sleeved shirt. Stretch marks? No Sleep: Just waking up to use the bathroom once a night! Best moment this week: Watching Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra play. Miss anything? A glass of wine :( Movement: This baby is a ninja! Lol. Gonna have some awesome dance moves when he is born. Food cravings: Not really Anything! Anything making you queasy or sick: No Gender: Boy!!!! Labor signs: no Symptoms: Sore Boobs! Belly button in or out? in Wedding rings on or off? on Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty darn Happy Looking forward to: Cuddling a new baby! Getting bigger...half way mark...and I can definitely see a huge difference as the days go by. Growing more and more each day ;)
Hope you enjoyed and Thanks for stopping by! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia

Hello,
Yikes it has been to long. No video. Sorry. For those of you that like them. Maybe I will do one soon. But anyways I thought I should fill you in on the weeks that I missed. Just in case some of you were wondering! 20-23 Weeks: I officially signed up for the W.I.N Program (Women Infant Nutrition) so that was really cool. Some benefits for joining are I get coupons when we meet....coupons that I can use at the grocery store for like free milk and other dairy, vegetables, and fruit/juices. But that's not the reason I joined...it is a really fun group I already met some great people (Mom's) through it. There is something about meeting and learning about babies and meeting other people with the same things going on as you isn't there? I LOVE this program. It should be a blast once we start up full force again this fall! Jayden and I Celebrated our 4 Year Wedding Anniversary on the 16th of June! :) We had a Family Reunion July 11-14th (23 Weeks Pregnant) it was super fun. We have one every 3 Years on Hubby's side (so this was my second one) It was so exciting to have our baby to be prayed for and loved as much as some of the older generation showed! WOW! 24-27 Weeks: I started meeting with some ladies from my church on Wednesday to sew with them. I sewed a few things since then (especially things for my little niece)! July 30th (25 Weeks 5 Days) My little niece Isla Lynn Madsen joined us. She is lovely :) I meet every Monday with some ladies I know and we crochet/knit together...then we meet again during the week at a local coffee shop that has the best Carmel Mocha Latte's :) Oh the joys of being a Housewife! What more can I ask for? 28-29 Weeks: August 17th (28 Weeks 2 Days)We had a Doctor's appointment she said everything was going super well and that it was time to take our Glucose test! So I did that a few days later. I hate getting poked...I hate it so much!!! LOL! Also she said we are now going to meet every 2 weeks instead of every month! The 19th I got my blood tests done! Aug 20-25th In Edmonton researching some baby things to buy...then we went and visit with my Family for a few days. We mended some relationships that needed mending. Thank you for your Prayers on that. It is really nice to fix things when they are broken...especially with Family! I Love you Mom & Dad...always!!!! WE got a call from our Doctor saying the Glucose test came back positive!!! EEEKK!!! What a scare!!! So we went for another test. Which took over 3 hours of being at the hospital and having to drink that gross drink again (which messed up my system for several days after) Then we had our regular scheduled Doctor's appointment a few days later. The results then came back Negative. So YAY for not have Diabetes!!!!! 30 Weeks: We had another Doctor's appointment (because it is every 2 weeks now not every month) and I noticed that the baby always has the hiccups down below in my "lower" regin like super low so I asked the Doctor if that meant the baby's head was down....she checked and sure enough it is. So let's hope it stays that way. I have gained 18 pounds so far in this pregnancy. Doctor says she is happy with my weight gain. If she's happy...I'm happy!!!! My Belly is 30 Inches according to the Doc! I have been having pretty restless sleeps during 30 weeks. Waking up and thinking that I had a lot to do before my Baby get's here. Stupid things like cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming...and then things like what car seat are we going to buy? LOL Yeah it's been...awesome!!!! 31 Weeks: We had our first Prenatal Class! It was awesome. Our Best Friends are in it too...so that's cool! I have been feeling baby a lot lately. I am starting to notice how it is starting to sit and where it's head is and where it's feet are. I LOVE feeling movements especially it's hiccups! I am becoming so in Love with my Baby I am enjoying every moment of it's growing and learning. Soon enough I will be able to see this beautiful little face and hands and feet and nose and ears and hair. I wonder every day how it will look. Like it's Dad? Like Me? I am so filled with Wonder of this little creation. I thank God everyday for giving us this beautiful gift of life inside me. How Amazing! Symptoms these past few months! Honestly I am safe to say that this pregnancy has been AMAZING so far! I am so lucky to experience this. I have bonded so much with this little person inside me and I have become so much closer in my Walk. I am tired...here and there! I get heartburn...here and there (take 2 tums and I am good to GO) I wake up to pee about 4 times a night...but fall asleep once my head hits the pillow again! My "chest area" hurts now and then...but nothing to complain about! Yeah I wish I could get to say more...but honestly I don't have anything to say. It has seriously been a blast being pregnant. If pregnancy was like this every time...we would be in trouble...because I would want like 10 kids and counting! LOL! Anyways that's enough for my novel. The next one will be shorter! Thanks for reading! Sorry I didn't make a video instead but it would have been like 30 minutes long if I made this into a video! If I keep on top of things I could literally make 2 minute video's. No belly shot today either. I'm lazy! haha! When it comes to blogging. So hopefully I can get into it more! Thank you to those who really like my blog! That means a lot to me. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia |
