Hello, Well, well, well we have reached the half way point. So insane. I still cannot believe it! Technically I may only have 17 more weeks to go!!! Now that's hard to believe! This pregnancy is FLYING by! We are getting so excited and anxious for what is to come for us. Amazing. This pregnancy is amazing...I think about it everyday...that I still cannot believe I am growing another human inside of me. Pregnancy is unbelievable isn't it? Such a miracle. Such a blessing. Pure Love! The Baby is starting to kick when "His" daddy puts his hands on my belly now (well he has for a few weeks now) but Jayden can definitely feel it very clear...and he claims that the kicks are getting way stronger. Isaiah would not kick for Jayden really at all...I would lay down for bed (while pregnant with Isaiah) and say honey...baby...kicking...and as soon as he would put his hand on my belly Isaiah would freeze in position...then he would take his hand off...and Isaiah would kick, kick, kick...and so on...I think he only got to feel him a handful of times during my pregnancy. But this Baby....my oh my he loves to move! I am completely in love with this feeling...and soaking in all of it! Cause you really never know when your last pregnancy will happen? I would have 10 kids if it was up to me...but it's not. God has a plan, and he knows exactly how many children he will bless us with! How have I been feeling? Honestly very very tired and uncomfortable...this pregnancy was identical to my first pregnancy for the first few months...but now it's just getting uncomfortable! But I think I am doing pretty good about it, there are some seriously long days...but I guess it can be worse. Thank the Lord that I wasn't one to get morning sickness and be ill for most of my pregnancy...I definitely lucked out on that one. My Boobs hurt soo bad (sorry tmi) but I am documenting my journey so everything comes with that. They hurt way more than I remember with my first pregnancy! Sometimes this baby totally stretches out in there and I think that is why I am so uncomfortable all the time. It is mostly in my belly...like it feels like he is stretched out completely and stretching my insides... I am starting to plan out some ideas for our Master Bedroom! I want to decorate it and completely get ready for this little dude. We do have some boys names picked out as well, that we are really excited about. So once we have this baby and decide on his name I will put his name about the cradle somehow in our bedroom. This makes me so excited! How Big is Baby for Week 20? Baby Madsen is the size of a Banana (weighs about 10.2 ounces and measures about 6.5 inches) Growing nice and healthy. But I guess in all fairness I am pregnant and this is definitely the time to have the excuse of eating what I crave...haha. The Gender Reveal Party was loads of fun. I have a post separate of the party so go and have a look at that. It was an awesome idea and pretty much all the things I made for the party I got from Pinterest! My Mother and siblings were able to come down and be here for that as well, so that made it very special to me. It's always so nice to have my Family come to events. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, Well we had a pretty amazing Weekend. My Mother and Siblings came down to visit and we had out very first Gender Reveal Party for our little Peanut. Last Week...Monday to be exact we had our Ultrasound...we were told that they may not be able to determine the gender! But we thought we would give it a try anyways. I had been planning the Gender Reveal Party for over a Month and when I found out my Family were coming down I thought we would chance the results and just stick with our plan to have the Party the following Saturday. The Ultrasound Tech was nice enough to write down the Gender for us on a little piece of paper after she searched the Baby for 5 minutes! So sweet! After the Ultrasound we went to my In-Laws house and I immediately took that little piece of paper and stuck it in an envelope and sealed it (I swear on my life I did not cheat and look at the paper...which was kind of hard to do...but I didn't) So like it always happens this way I saved all the decorations for last minute. I starting making decor on Thursday (with the help of my lovely bestie Allana...who I am so thankful for) and I finished making everything about 2pm on Saturday (when the party started at 3pm) lol. So my goal this Year is to really be more on top of things and really start planning things far more than 3 days in advance...haha! Here are pictures of the party. Hope you enjoy. Here I have bows to draw and cut out as well as moustaches. Of course the Hershey's Bars with He/She highlighted in the Pink/Blue. A nice little touch...that I got from pinterest...haha! Working on Pom Pom's. They actually were really really easy to do..I'll post the link for you if you are interested in making some yourself. http://www.thoughtfullysimple.com/how-to-make-tissue-paper-pom-poms/ (In this link there is a there is a full details link toward the bottom of the post...but the pictures were pretty awesome) I bought iron-on letters to make Isaiah a Big Brother T-Shirt for the Party. As well as working on Banners that we can later in the evening use as an announcement picture (holding the banner) Oh Pinterest you are sooo amazing. Our Voting Station. Cast Your Vote. Grab a Moustache or Bow :) Then we counted all the votes...good job Team Boys :) haha The Beautiful Cake made by our Best Friends. It was perfect in every single way...and it turned out exactly the way I pictured it. I hope you enjoyed this post. We had a blast at the Reveal Party.

...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, So we are 17 Weeks Pregnant. 3 More Weeks until we are halfway there...how did this happen? It is flying by. I remember it taking forever with Isaiah...but of course I know how him to look after and am probably not as focused on growing a baby. Lol. I am definitely enjoying every moment...and I am so happy that I am over that nasty flue that I had. Yikes it sucked. But on Sunday night Jayden and I went into Edmonton to watch Muse in Concert...and WOW was it a concert. It was one of the best concerts I have seen in my life. The light show was amazing. We will be spending most of the end of this Week shopping in Edmonton. Jayden has a teachers convention to attend...so Isaiah and I will go in with him and we will spend our days shopping. I also got some diapers for baby this week. I am slowly gonna start collecting the things we will need for the baby. and Newborn diapers are just that. (Even though Jayden thinks we have enough)...but a Mama who loves to cloth diaper...never has enough. We didn't like the newborn diapers we had used with Isaiah so I am on a mission to add a few more to our stash so I can try out new kinds. So I have been keeping an eye out for different deals. I was browsing on one of my favourite cloth diaper sites over a week ago and noticed newborn AMP diapers (which I heard good things about) where on clearance. So I grabbed 4 of those (they only had blue ones and 1 green one left) Also I was just on Babysteals.com a few days ago and found another great deal. They had Swaddlebee's newborn diapers on for $8.99 each. So I got another 4 of those too. (They didn't come in this week...so I will post them in next week's post) Those are my Baby Buys for the Week. I love them. It's so exciting getting things ready for the baby. We are gonna work on our Master Bedroom over the next few weeks. Getting the cradle and dresser set up...and I want to do a bit of personalizing decor for the baby. Something over his/her cradle maybe. Anyways I am feeling great and am getting so excited for next Weekend when we can find out the Gender...hopefully. We have an ultrasound booked for Feb. 11th so on Feb 16th we are having a Gender reveal party. So excited. How big is Baby for Week 17? Baby is the size of an onion. (weighs about five ounces) holy snap! That's it for the week. Here are my Questions and Answers. Enjoy. ...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello,
I cannot believe how fast this is going. Yikes. Well not much to report this week. I had spend most of this past Weekend/Week being cuddled on the couch with my 1 Year old while both of us had a pretty bad flu. It was spent drinking as much liquids as we can, not wanting to eat much at all (so I mostly just had fruit/vegetable juices) and watching blue's clues and disney movies. How big is Baby for Week 16? The size of an Avocado (Weighs about 3-5 Oz this week, and 4-5 inches in length)...crazy!!! Not much else to add to this post. Here are my questions for the week. Enjoy. But we are happy and healthy and loving life together! I am already starting to do some nesting...I can't help myself I want to have our house sparkling clean and organized for when our little peanut arrives (which won't be for like 25 More Weeks!!!) But I can't help myself. Our new cradle came in from sears the other day...so this Week sometime I will get Hubby to set it up for us :) These next few months I want to work on getting our house ready and getting decorations set up too. I want to get some crafts and decor done for our home. But that will come with time. Also these next few months I want to continue working on making some crafty things for me to sell at our local farmers market as well as have them set up on my online Zibbet shop! I just have to keep on crocheting and sewing to make that happen. I have until the end of March to get some products organized for the Market!
