Hello, Well I am enjoying the Third Trimester! I cannot believe it has arrived! Holy Smokes! This pregnancy is flying by! You don't even realize how many nights Jayden and I lie and bed and talk about how fast everything is going. We still cannot even wrap our head around the Idea that we almost have a 1.5 Year Old. How does time go so fast? Life with Isaiah has been a complete life change...and we cannot even believe he is ours. We cannot even believe we have been parents for 1.5 Years (on the 1st) Yikes! And now he is going to have a little brother! Slow down time. Life is amazing and we are so blessed and Thankful to have all that we have! Thank you Jesus! This pregnancy has been very great so far. Minus the very painful heartburn every now and again. But this last week was when I gave in and went and bought some Zantac (better take some now...now that I got a reminder to take it) But yeah there was a day earlier this Week that I could have died it was so bad. I could hardly breath and it was the sharpest pain to my chest I have experienced in all my life. I have never felt it anything like this when I was prego with Isaiah. So it was a crazy experience. I got a prescription when I was pregnant with Isaiah because I would get heartburn (mild heartburn) every once and a while. The Doctor said that the meds were still fine to take with this pregnancy (because I only used like 1 out of the bottle) So I took 2 the day I had the bad heartburn and I swear it did absolutely nothing for me! My Sister-In-Law who is also pregnant right now (YAY for lil cousins) swears by Zantac....so I thought I would give it a try...and WOW it is way better than the stuff I got from my Doctor! Crazy! I made little man a newborn hospital hat and some little booties. So I am definitely feeling the early stages of nesting (if that's possible) well nesting by doing crafts and making things for him? haha. Aren't they so cute? I will definitely have more coming! How does Mama feel? Well like I said before I feel great. Just heartburn. Also I have noticed I am starting to get really tired again and losing energy to do things (housework mostly) Also when I have to pick Isaiah up I am finding that a hard task as well. My Belly is definitely in the way now. I told Jayden that I should probably give myself a pedi before I cannot reach my toes at all! So I am sure that will happen this Weekend sometime! Get rid of these dry winter feet I have going on. Also my hands need a good pick me up as well. Nighttime is starting to be the time where I am dreading the most...I cannot get comfortable in bed at all! I seriously wake up a million times to roll over to the other side (and am constantly waking up sleeping on my back) I really want to finish organizing my craft room...because there is a few projects I want to get done before he arrives. A few things I want to make for him (and I will most likely make extra's for the other babies that are going to make an appearance this Year!) I had a girls day on Wednesday. My good friend Laura and I got our hair done together (one after another) then went out for some lunch. It is seriously the best feeling when you get pampered. We tried out this salon for the first time with a coupon for $10 off your first cut as well as a free hair product. How crazy is that? Plus the girl did an amazing job on my hair. I Love it! A little shorter than I wanted, but mostly because the previous cut was slightly longer towards the front. I want to grow it now, so this will be much better for doing just that! How Big is Baby for Week 28? Baby is the size of an Eggplant! Lol! Crazy! Weighs around 1.5-2.5lbs and is about 13.6-14.8 inches in length! The lungs are mature enough that he could probably breath on his own if he were born prematurely. Doesn't this sound insane. He is still so tiny...but he can survive being out in the world! Keep cookin in there baby. We will meet soon enough! Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy! How far along? 28 Weeks 6 Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: 168.8 lbs. 43 Inch Bump (Sorry I didn't weigh in..this was last weeks measurements) Maternity clothes? My tee is from H&M & Shorts are motherhood I believe (I got them used...cause maternity shorts are freaking expensive) Stretch marks? Hello, I think it is absolutely insane that in 10 short weeks our Baby will be Full term and therefore be safe to arrive at any given time. Crazy. There is so much to do and I am definitely feeling the pressure. Although when I do think about it (I will make a list of what needs to get done so I can start tackling it) There really isn't that much to do...but they are just time consuming. I am getting so darn excited to meet this little man...this little one that has been kicking me for the past few months :)
My Birthday is creeping up as well. I can't believe I will be 27 Years Old. This blows my mind! I always said I wanted to be done having our Children by the time I was 30 Years Old. But since we want to have a couple more after this Babe...I will be hitting the 30's while still going strong with the baby making :) Hehe. I just have to convince Hubby that 4 just isn't enough for us! Really...Really...why can't I have 4+ Children? Who says? Why do you only have to have 2-3 now a days??? Back then they had BIG families. My Kookum (Grandmother) had 6 Children. 4 Girls and 2 Boys (1 Girl passed away as a baby I have never met her...and 1 of my Uncles passed away about 5 Years ago) But I really admire my Kookum. Especially considering her babies are all close in age and the last born where 2 of them (twins) I Love my Kookum, So proud of her and what she has done in life! I often catch myself dreaming of having a big Family like she did. We have it so easy in today's world, imagine how they lived back then? Imagine doing laundry in a bucket with a wash board...or heating water...gah...we have it easy. So there it is my dream of being a Mama to a billion kids. Haha! How does Mama feel? Well as we speak I got some heartburn...I actually had it all day today, just chillin in my throat all day. Puke. I feel uncomfortable. I feel sooo tired. But I also feel great too...if that makes sense. I feel lots of movement from this little man. Lots of kicking and punching, and some hiccups once and a while, and a whole lot of turning. Definitely feeling it on the ol' bladder as well, which is not a fun thing. I am feeling like I want to start getting things down around my house...like really start getting them done. How Big is Baby for Week 27? The size of a Rutabaga! 13.6-14.8 Inches long, and 1.5-2.5 pounds. This is the earliest baby can survive outside of Mama apparently if delivered prematurely. Here are my Q's for the Week. Enjoy! How far along? 27 Weeks Days Pregnant Total weight gain and bump measurements: .2 Weight Loss Weight: 168.8 lbs. 1" increase 43 Inch Bump Maternity clothes? no pictures this week. Stretch marks? No Sleep: Sleep is awesome...waking up to pee (only once thank goodness) not so much Best moment this week: making Decor for the "Nursery" a.k.a Master Bedroom Miss anything? A Glass of Red Wine ;) Yup Movement: He loves to turn into new positions Food cravings: Spinach sauteed with butter ;) Anything making you queasy or sick: Eggs are still iffy. Gender: Boy ;) Labor signs: no Symptoms: Movement (lots of it), Sore lower back, heartburn, fatigue Belly button in or out? in Wedding rings on or off? on Happy or moody most of the time: Happy Looking forward to: Meeting this little man...and watching Isaiah's reaction when meeting his Brother ;) I didn't get any pictures this week. Has been a busy week. But at least I got the instagram one at the top :) Thanks so much for stopping by! ...following my dreams... -Cynthia Hello, Well we have reached 26 Weeks! Holy Moly...is what I have to say! It is insane how fast the time is going. There isn't a whole lot new this week. Again I forgot to take pictures of my Mama buys. So hopefully I will put them in the 27 Week update for you. It's nothing too exciting anyways. haha! We Celebrated my little Sister Lacey's Birthday on Saturday. Her Birthday is actually the 1st of April! So my Sister Trishea and her boyfriend came down as well. It was good times. We stayed up pretty late Friday night playing some board games and Taboo. So fun. I am addicted to that game. Lol! I think my Sister had a good Party though, so that's good. It was nice to spend time with Family and Friends ;) Next week Lacey is gonna come over so we can work on getting the Baby's little "Nursery area" ready. I say it this way because we are gonna decorate our Master Bedroom...where the baby will sleep for the first few weeks of life. Get it ready for a little boy to arrive! I can't wait I am so excited to start and share our progress...and to pull ou those itty bitty clothes and get them organized...and those itty bitty cloth diapers too :) YAY! I am still digesting the fact that I get to have another little man in our life. God is so good. I am so blessed with this life! How is Mama feeling? Well I am getting at the tired phase again. It comes and goes...this week though I definitely feel less energy. It doesn't help that I have been staying up so late either. Something we should change really quick here so I can enjoy my early nights while I can. Heartburn comes and goes. When it comes...Yup it sucks. But it usually goes away on it's own...I haven't had to take anything for it just yet...but maybe when he gets a little bigger I will. I feel like I am finally slowing down a bit on growing size Large. Haha. This week I actually dropped on the scale a bit...so that is good news. I obviously know that I will gain weight in pregnancy...but for a few weeks there it was going up a few pounds a week...which scares me. Jayden looked at me the other day and asked me to face him so I did and he started laughing. I looked down to see what was so funny...so he said "turn to the side" so I did and he laughed more and said "Wow you are sooo pregnant" LOL. Turkey!!! How Big is Baby for Week 26? A head of Lettuce! 13.6-14.8 inches and 1.5-2.5 pounds. Yup. Getting bigger. Like seriously A head of lettuce.... <3 Here are my Q's for the Week! I will add the Mama buys in for next week, because I havent taken pictures of what I purchased yet. How is Mama feeling? Well I am not gonna lie...I am feeling quite HUGE.
