Hello, Well little Anders is over 3 Months already. Very behind on his update. But I figure an update late is better than no update at all. Time is getting away from us. Like it is seriously on fast speed. We are in full Renovation mode at this point in our life. We bought our house about 6.5 Months ago now and we LOVE it. But now that Jayden is done Teaching for the summer we are in the process of gutting our basement and he will redo it all from floors...to ceilings! BIG job! But I have a hard working Husband who just wants to get it done. I am learning that it is NOT summer vacation for him and that it is pretty much his Summer Job. So I need to get in Wife mode again and be prepared with meals :) So that's my goal this next while is having meals prepared for him and letting him relax when he's finished working at the end of the day <3 Let's talk about Anders though since this is HIS update...lol. Anders is such a beautiful little boy. He is so full of life, the moment you look into his eyes and he looks into yours a huge smile from him follows that. So cute. He is getting so much more fun now...learning new things...learning how to move his legs & hands and learning to grab at things. He is getting very stable as well and shouldn't be long until the jumper or Jumper-oo is his best friends. He is in a really great schedule now too. Perfect little baby. Anyways here is his update for this Month. At 3 Months Old... Weight & Length- Anders is 14 lbs 3 oz. I am not sure his length. Sizes- This chunky monkey is in Size 3 Diapers (although he can fit in Size 4 Diapers...which he is currently in until my next diaper order comes in from amazon beginning of August) But that is weeks away so we may just have to keep him in 4's. lol. It feels & looks like he is slowing down a bit now in the growing department. We have started cloth diapers again and love it. He is on the small setting still but will probably be moving to the medium setting. We are loving Grovia AI2's. He is wearing 6-12 Month clothes (Some are even just the perfect length and I feel like he won't wear long. Routine- He is actually creating a nice routine for himself :) These are all approx. times as it may change by half hour/hour on a daily basis. 7am he Wakes up for the day. I nurse him. He stays awake for about 45 minutes then goes down for his first nap. He sleeps for about 1-1.5 Hours. Then wakes up. Nurses and then he usually has about 1-1.5 Hour stretch of being awake then sleeps for 1-2 hour stretches throughout the day. This goes on all day. We have been doing play time during his awake time. We'll talk to him, play peek-a-boo, do tummy time, bouncy chair with toys time. He goes to sleep around 8:30/9pm every night. Jayden and I go to bed around 11pm so I slip into his room and dream feed him before I go to sleep. Sleeping- We really have been blessed with good little sleepers :) Anders LOVES his sleep. He goes down for the the night around 9pm, get's a dream feed around 11, and 90% of the time he will wake up in between 3:30-4:30am for a feed. Then wakes up at 7am (ish). He naps so well during the day...and I don't even have to nurse him to sleep anymore. Glad that's over with. Eating- We are breastfeeding exclusively. That is going fantastic. He still nurses on one side each feed...unless he is having a growth spurt then wants to nurse on both sides :) Milestones- He seems to be a little behind on some of the things that are "suppose to be on track" lol. But he is going at his own pace and I think he's perfect <3
3 Months Postpartum- I am loving life at this point. I feel like this time is the sweet spot after having baby. They start to get into an awesome routine by now and you can really just let loose and enjoy life at this point. He is in such a great routine that I am able to focus on myself now. I am able to get out for coffee, and girls nights, and just go places without him if I need to. Once he is nursed I can leave him and have about 2-3 hours before I need to be back to nurse again :) I am working on a healthier lifestyle, trying to eat better & trying to add more fitness in. I do an outdoor bootcamp twice a week but I really want to go running every morning :) It's just waking up that is the tough thing. Everything is just going great! I am so happy with everything and with this awesome experience with a third little boy! Isaiah and Jens are such awesome big brothers and it's so nice to have little helpers and ones that love their brother too! Thanks for stopping by :)
...following my dreams... -Cynthia
