Hey, It's actually pretty crazy that Anders is 7 Months Old. Where the heck did the time go? This little boy brings so much joy into my life and I am so thankful for him. This little dude enjoys life to the fullest and is seriously the easiest baby I know. He sleeps 12 (sometimes 13) hours at night, naps during the day, nurses, sometimes eats some puree's or practices his cheerio grabbing skills, plays, rolls around, jumps, sits up (almost unattended), and just loves to watch the world around him. So...much...of awesome exploding from this little man. The most exciting thing that is new with him though is he said 2 of his first words. First one was "Ba Ba" Second one "Ma Ma" Yes!!!!!! This mama is so proud of him. So sweet. Anders is seriously so sweet. That is the one word that sums him up when people ask me what kind of baby he is. I look at him all day long and just think "You are too sweet Anders" <3 Renovations are still going on in our house. The Drywall is all done. Next up painting the walls, putting in the rug, and all the finishing touches. Then this winters project will be our bathroom downstairs and then the basement will be 90% complete (we'll deal with the laundry room in the spring/summer) But it is so nice to finally see the end coming. Exciting knowing that in just a few short weeks we will be able to use our family room, set up my craft room and set up the guest bedroom. YAY! Nothing else really going on in our house. The boys are getting excited for Halloween and Isaiah is getting very excited for his 4th Birthday!!!! I better get crackin' on making some Birthday Party Decorations! Anyways on to the update for Mr. Anders <3 Enjoy! Weight & Length- He had his immunization appointment a couple days ago. Things are going great with him He is a happy healthy baby. He weighed in at 15 lbs 4 oz (So he seemed to go down a few ounces since I had him checked a few weeks ago) But it seems normal now that he rolls all over the place and jumps in his jumper once or twice a day :) His length....26 inches long! Sizes- He wears 12Month clothes (a lot are still big on him) and he wears size 4 diapers. We are officially don't cloth diapering now that we introduced him to solids. Routine- He doesn't have a set schedule yet. Isaiah started pre-k the beginning of October and so Anders wakes up around 7 or 8am we need to drop Isaiah off for 9am (this is the time Anders is ready for a nap so he pretty much just has a power nap in the vehicle while we drop Isaiah off and run errands) I nurse him when he wakes up from naps during the day. He stays up for about 2 hours and naps for about 1.5 hours throughout the day. I feed him puree's at least once a day. At around 7pm he nurses one last time and I put him to sleep for the night. I am ok with this schedule. I do however want to try to stick to something every day that will work for him...his morning nap is the thing I'd love to have figured out. Sleeping- He naps good during the day (1.5-2 hours at a time) and goes to sleep around 7pm and sleeps until about 7 or 8am. He loves his sleep. And he is also getting used to sharing a room with his brothers. Jens will often wake up a couple times a night and it doesn't even wake Anders up :) Eating- Well he still loves nursing. We have been very slow at introducing him to solids. I have tried to give him a couple things cut up and learned that he is not ready for solids. He loves puree's so I will be working on a little menu for him so I have something to follow and know what I will be feeding him :) I hope he loves foods as I love to cook. So far he's tried, apples (loves), banana's (loves), avocado (did not like), pears (loves), sweet potato (loves), rice & ground beef...from a cabbage roll (loved), cheerios, mum mums, arrowroot cookies, rice cereal (loves) & oatmeal (didn't mind) He still nurses every time he wakes up and then I offer him puree's once a day. Milestones-
7 Months Postpartum- I am doing really great. Things are seeming more manageable these days. I am on my last day of my 6 Week Yoga session and I honestly have loved every class I've been to. It has changed me totally. It's been wicked seeing my body transform...being able to do some poses I wasn't able to do when I first started. It's been sweet being able to have "mommy time" and has been something I looked forward to every week. I won't be committing to twice a week anymore but I am hoping I could do a drop in yoga class at least once a week. Jayden and I's schedules have been getting a little out of hand and I am finding that we have way too many things on the go. Just feeling like we need to simplify our life a bit and spend more time with eachother and with our boys. I haven't lost weight at all...however I have maintained...so that's great. But I am struggling to get back on track. Just gonna focus on eating healthier and adding daily fitness into my life. Then hopefully I'll start seeing more results. But for now I am just learning to love myself...even though a lot of days I really feel like I don't. But I'll lose weight eventually. ...following my dreams...
